Very bad services and rude manager in **** Maxwell Austin and Killeen, **. Car has mechanical issues!!! Waiting for parts for about a month. They are only providing a lot of excuses. I have to make payments without being able to use the car. I will not exposed a college student driving a car that has already mechanical and electrical issues. Im going up with my case and complaint. They were trying to shut my mouth given me another car. I told them NO! I dont play those games! They need to improve better services to a costumer that trust on them by the time that you purchase a new vehicle. The costumer safe in the road is PRIORITY! Never had this problem before with any other vehicle brand.

By far the worst car servicing experience of my life!! Here is a story to hopefully convince you to do everything in your power to avoid **** Maxwell's car servicing department or a investigative firm to explore unethical business practices. While reading this know that I'm very familiar with working on cars but I have a job that is incredibly taxing and in this case it's easier for me to throw money at my problem... just not this much.My car was leaking a good amount of some sort of orange fluid from the front left wheel well that traveled under the skid plates near the mid-left of the vehicle. I thought that was odd but with the 4x4 axle system and airbag suspension and these new cars you never know. A couple day after noticing the fluid my car started overheating pretty bad, I actually barely made it to **** Maxwell's shop but it was the closest "credible" shop to me. When I took it in I was very clear that my main complains is the overheating and that there was some sort of unknown fluid leaking from the front left axle region. I mentioned to them that I recently replaced the thermostat and got the car's coolant swapped. The car has 48k miles so figured it was time and could be related. I get the call stating that the thermostat was installed upside down, the thermostat housing was leaking and the front left axle needing replacing. $2k of repairs. I said sure, if that's going to fix my core complaint do it and they also did a coolant flush. I get the car back from them and my car starts over heating and it's leaking more fluid from the same spot as before. They did mention there was a leak near the firewall but wasn't related. I took it back in and they said it was a heater hose assembly behind the engine which this is a common issue... Additional $1k repairs and they tried to sell me on a left engine mount on a 48k mile car. $3k or repairs for $100 part replacement. Complete scam and I'll do everything in my power to warn anyone considering this place.

Rude and racist! I went to look at their loaner Grand Cherokee, its priced at $42,853. We informed the salesperson this was the price we were willing to pay. After test-driving, we decided to proceed with the purchase. When I inquired about adding a hitch and if the cost was negotiable, she estimated it at $2,000, and said she needed to consult with the sales manager. She returned with a new price: the car's price had increased to $52,000, while the hitch was "reduced" to $1,200. We decided no hitch installed there and requested the price be reverted to the original agreement. The sale manager, *****, joined, and thats when the nightmare started. With a noticeably hostile demeanor, he claimed the advertised price was not to be honored. I reiterated our agreement on the original price before coming in, highlighting that our only query was regarding a possible discount on the hitch installation, not expecting a result in the price raise of the car. Then he dismissively told us we were not welcome, he doesnt sell to "you people," demanded my husband and I must leave. I was shaking and shocked! The indifference of the staff shows they all too familiar with such incidents. ***** kept arrogantly dismissed us, and as we were standing up, the salesperson suggested we speak with the *** described as 'the sweetest person,' implying he can salvage the situation. Escorted to a room with ceiling tall book shelves filled with fake decorative books, the ** adopted a gentle tone but insisted the advertised price as inaccurate. I said that was the price we agreed on or otherwise we would not have come. Then he suggested that among us the four good people, a deal could still be arranged. I asked if he heard his sale manager shouting at us to leave, the ** seemed one second pause but remained focused on finalizing the sale. Dont go! The manipulative sales strategies, the outright hostility, the discriminatory remarks of ***** particularly targeting Asian heritage is disgusting!

Stay away from this place! I took my daughters car here for repairs because thats where I purchased it new. They kept the car for nearly four months, claiming that the parts were on order. The car had an extended warranty but the sales representative told me that my repair would not be covered under warranty. After nearly four months, I decided to pick the car and take it elsewhere. They had the nerve to charge me $200 for diagnostics for a car that they kept so long without repairing. Each time I called them about the car they either put me on hold and hung up the phone or gave me the runaround about my sales representative not being available. Stay away!!!

I've reached out to Mr. Carter about the issue.

It was an unfortunate situation in that his daughter's Fiat did need parts that were not available in the US.

We had to order the parts from overseas and the timeline was long.

We prioritized the delivery process but the time to get parts from Fiat in Italy was unfortunately long.

We do apologize for the delay but it was not in our control.

I am happy to help in the future in any way if Mr. Carter would like to reach out.

**** IS A PILE! VERY POOR **************** REPAIRS!!! I brought my vehicle into this facility with a concern of a misfire and ended up getting quoted (Cam job, lifters on both sides and all gaskets) $6000k dollars worth of repairs completed. After said repairs were supposedly completed.Upon further inspection of my vehicle, I found that my fan shroud had been cracked and someone tried to repair it. At the time you can still see fresh glue, or some type of resin that was wiped off and shining. Here's to worst part, I use this vehicle to conduct a business. As I arrived to my first client's home after picking up my vehicle that morning, I noticed I'm spewing oil EVERYWHERE!!! After cleaning oil from the pavement and then having my vehicle towed home, I had spent more than a day trying to get in touch with someone that would hear and address my concerns and have still been unsuccessful. After getting in touch with Austin and letting him know about my vehicle, leaking oil, and me now suffering loss wages, other unnecessary fees and expenses, he said they are refusing to repair my vehicle not only that I am also barred from any now Maxwell Dealership! Furthermore, he said that "he didn't think that they were the cause of the oil leak on my vehicle after the repairs they had just completed to take it to another dealership get an estimate on the cost of the repairs and he may think about doing something about it"?! Please know this is the type of service that you can expect when bringing your vehicle to **** Maxwell!! This is my livelihood yall are playing with, and I do not take it out kindly!!! If allowed I will post every picture of my vehicle leaking including receipts, what I was quoted, time on the receipt after paying $6000 and time stamped photos.

My wife and I purchased a 2016 VW Tiguan from their ************* in Austin location around two weeks ago. We agreed to a loan payment of 72 month with the sales person. At signing, however, it was changed to 75 months. Also, when the car was delivered to our home, it had more dents and scratches than when we first saw the car at the dealership. The oil, according to them was changed but there was no sticker on the windshield to let us know when the next oil change should be, We went back to the discuss these issues with them and the manager was rude and impolite. All in all, we had a bad experience with them and we do not recommend them for ************* purchase.

If i could give them a zero, i would. These rip off artist are they absolute worst. Sold me an extended warranty that was supposed to be lifetime and now are denying this saying the warranty I paid for has expired. was told it ran concurrently with my factory warranty and its my fault for not paying attention even though I was told it took over when my factory warranty ended and that it was lifetime. Why in the heck would I buy an extended warranty that ran concurrent with the factory warranty!! I have the proof that I purchased it and the say they have proof I signed a contract for only a 5 year warranty but refuse to produce it. Maxwell Forever is nothing but a big lie to take your money. Avoid any of these dealerships cause the are all probably full of thieves and liars like the dodge dealership is!!

I purchased a 2021 tahoe on saturday, february 25. On our way home to ********** we noticed that both headlights were pointing down with no visibility during our 4 hour night drive. I notified the sales person and finance manager of this issue on monday february 27 and i took the tahoe to our local ***** dealership to get it checked out. The dealership called to make a claim and it was denied because it was not a covered component. I spoke with the finance manager and he advised me that he spoke with the *** extended warranty representative and the rep told him that they will make and exemption and cover the headlight. Here I am 9 weeks later and havent heard from anyone nor can i get a hold of anyone. This is a fustrating issue and an embarrasament to be driving a $70,000 certified vehicle with impaired headlights.I am having a terrible experience with **** Maxwell Pre-Owned dealership located at ********************** Austin. They are bad at returning phone calls or keeping you updated. I hope to hear something from them soon.

In addition to a truck, I purchased all-weather floor mats in October 2020. When they delivered the floor mats a month later, they provided me with the wrong mat for the rear passenger seat. I called the dealership multiple times to and left voicemails requesting assistance. I was never called back. When I brought my vehicle in for service and raised the issue, I was told they weren't "going to give me free floor mats." I said I didn't want free floor mats, I wanted to exchange the incorrect item they had given me for the correct mat. They told me to buy new mats, that they weren't going to correct their mistake. Terrible customer service. The dealership was willing to lose a customer forever rather than correct their own error. I will never shop there again.

I bought a brand new truck and paid cash from **** Maxwell on April 14, 2021. It had 27 miles on it. They sold me the tint on the windows, step ladder for the truck, and bed liner. I did not take possession of the truck, so they could add the items. They failed to tell me that they were going to put 63 miles on my truck by letting vendors drive my truck around to get everything installed. My miles went up to 90 miles without me taking possession of my truck. I told them that I did not want the truck and the general manager said, "Oh well, you signed a contract", so now the truck is yours.

Thank you for this feedback. We want our guests to feel confident in their purchases and Im sorry to hear that this was not the case for you. It is not uncommon that we would need to drive the vehicle to the vendors location where the accessories will be installed and then back to the dealership for inspection. We expect our sales people to advise customers of this process before hand and let them know that there may be some additional miles put on the car to do this. In this case, there were multiple accessories that were installed on this vehicle at several different locations which was the cause of the additional miles put on the truck. We apologize for any confusion regarding installing these items and I will follow up with our sales team as well as your salesman to ensure they are notifying customers of this process prior installing accessories on the vehicles. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to connect with me directly. ******************, Executive Assistant to the *** at ************. Thank you.
