I am a real estate agent. I had a client looking for ** working space. I called many spaces, including the Common Desk asking if they **operated with agents and paid **mmissions. They said that they absolutely do. I took my client in for a tour and he signed a lease. **** acknowledge that my client signed a lease and that I am due a **mmission, they just refuse to pay it. It has now been 4 months since my client moved in. I want any other brokers out there to know to avoid doing business with this dishonest **mpany.Business response

In response to *************************** Common Desk has issued the following statement and clarification of the situation at hand: Common Desk is grateful to work with real estate agents and brokers across our coworking markets. We pride ourselves on honest and reliable business practices and apologize for inconvenience caused to ****************. Unfortunately, it took longer than expected to verify **************** in our system. We do provide compensation/commission for our brokers and **************** has been paid according to our broker standards and agreements. Common Desk disputes the claims made by ****************, as he has been paid by Common Desk. Additionally, **************** has filed a complaint against the wrong Common Desk location. The business transaction is through our Common Desk - 6th & Congress location in downtown ******, not our Common Desk - ************************* location in northern ******.
Formally, we'd like these complaints to be dropped, as ****************' payment is in transit and we've upheld our end of the interaction.
Kindly,

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I will note that the 6th & Congress location does not have a BBB profile, and they are the same organization, so I see that as an administrative issues that the company needs to resolve internally.
I would also like to officially note, that the business forced me to do things such as post negative reviews and BBB complaints in order for them to take notice of the lack of payment and actually pay it. I tried for months on end to just be paid via the conventional channels and they refused to cooperate. ************** is indeed paid and I am thankful for services like the BBB to hold business such as these accountable.
Regards,
