In Feb 2024 *********** banned all my dating apps profiles. It was extremely confusing and unexpected to me as I am always respectful for people around me including dating apps.Soon I realized that I became a victim of revenge reporting. A week before the ban I had a date and decided not to pursue it further. Just a day after I stopped replying to this persons messages my accounts across *********** platform, including Bumble, got suspended.After my account on Tinder got banned I downloaded Bumble and started looking for matches. However, before a single date or even a conversation on Bumble platform I received a ban.Bumble never explained the reason for the ban. The only response I received was violation of our guidelines. My further questions were completely ignored by Bumble. To the best of my knowledge I never violated the guidelines, and even after reading them thoroughly I cannot find a single instance when my actions would not adhere to them. I would like Bumble to contact me with an explanation and the exact reason my account was banned. I also would like Bumble to restore it if there is no specific issue for suspension of my account. I am ready to provide any additional documentation.Since the revenge report accident, *********** have unbanned my account on Tinder platform. I downloaded the app after not having a profile for over a year and paid for a subscription. Shortly after paying my account got blocked. My money was not refunded and I was not given a reason as to why my account was blocked.Initial Complaint

I paid for a 3 month "Premium" subscription with an expiration date of 9-8-24. I had the filters set to "Verified Users Only", men between the ages of 56 to 64, up to 99 miles away from me in *************. In that 3 month period, on a daily basis checking the app, I would have zero men show in the app most days and when I did have men in my feed there were on average 3-4. I had approximately 8 "likes" in the 3 month period. On 9-7-24 when I opened the app about 8am there were 15 men in my feed. In the last 3 days I have 8 "likes". As I no longer have a subscription, I am unable to see the faces or profiles of the 8 men that have "liked" **** believe that this is intentional to bait me into renewing my $99.00 subscription.I would like to be refunded.Initial Complaint

I was suddenly banned from all Bumble apps simultaneously for allegedly violating their terms of service and community guidelines. However, after carefully reviewing all of them, it was clear that I did not violate any of the terms or community guidelines. I did not use profanity or harassing language in any messages. The only link I ever shared was to a video from my personal ******** profile about my miraculous recovery after breaking my spine. The video contained NO blood, core, or violence. Additionally, I have reason to believe a certain that a former ex was revenge reporting me and encouraging all of her friends to make profiles to do likewise after a civil hearing. She even admitted to doing so in a sworn police investigation and court hearing. Additionally, I had not received any messages, checked any of the apps, and had send no recent messages at the time of the ban. On appeal every app said that after careful and personal review the employees had determined that i did indeed violate their terms of service. That careful and personal review always took less than 2 minutes after submitting an appeal.Initial Complaint

Bumble *** owns thevapp HotorNot. **************** sent me an email that refused to honor my request. I contacted ******** customer service to request that my personal images and profile be removed from the app due to discomfort with their insistence on collecting my biometric health information. **************** ignored my request and provided reinstated their need for my biometric information. I sent another email requesting the removal of my pictures and profile and customer service again refused and sent an inappropriate response that did not pertain to my request for removal of my image and profile. I sent multiple emails requesting now. You don't have a right to collect my personal pictures against my consent and keep my profile on your app to make it seem like you have more members than you actually do. That is stealing and against the law. You don't have copyright to my personal images. I want them removed from your app immediately! I revoked consent and you have to honor it by law. I also want the customer service agents who have been responding inappropriately to be addressed. I shouldn't have to go through this. Your staff should understand English, be properly trained, and not force your app on people. No means "no". It doesn't mean send me multiple messages ignoring my boundaries. Your employee do not respect United States Laws not lack of consent. I can forward you their inappropriate responses to prove what I have written.Initial Complaint

Subject: ******************************************************* Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to bring to your attention an ongoing issue I have been experiencing with the dating app, Bumble. Despite investing over $100 into the platform, I am facing what appears to be a shadowban. I used to receive a good number of matches, but now my match rate has plummeted to around 2%.I am a 24-year-old, 6-foot-tall man, who takes care of his appearance, owns a car, and leads a fit lifestyle. I have been using Bumble for years and am well-versed in how the platform works. Complaint Against Bumble for Unjust Account Suspension and Lack of Response Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Bumble, as I believe the company has wrongfully blocked my account without providing any reasonable explanation or proof for their actions. I had a paid subscription with Bumble, and despite my repeated attempts to reach out to the company to understand the reasons behind the suspension, Bumble has failed to provide a satisfactory explanation.I believe I have been unfairly targeted with false accusations, and Bumble did not take adequate steps to verify whether the accusations were true or false before suspending my account. As a paying customer, I am deeply disappointed with the lack of transparency and communication from Bumble regarding this matter.I request the BBBs assistance in resolving this issue by urging Bumble to provide a clear and reasonable explanation for the suspension of my account, or to reinstate my account and refund any unused portion of my subscription.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,Initial Complaint

Bumble is making unsubstantiated statements about me. I received a warning, but they wont state what for. **************** copy and pastes the same message that gives zero detail. I did leave the app for a week, because I was being harassed by ******** of Largo, **. Either way, I want 1) proof of my wrong doing, or 2) an apology and my account cleared or 3) the amount I paid for the premium membership refunded via check and sent to: *********************** ***********************************************************. I no longer have the card that was used. I've attached proof from **** that the ** Box is mine.
