I attempted to cancel my membership in July 2023 but have discovered that they never canceled it, charged me for membership in July 2023 (I know this can't be recovered at this point), and have again charged me $264.00 for membership in July 2024. This website makes it extremely difficult to cancel your membership and does not allow you to remove your payment method. Each time I submit a request via their website I get no confirmation that the request went through, as of now I do not expect them to actually take any action to close my account or refund my membership fee.Business response

I can confirm that this member's membership was cancelled and her membership fees refunded. Please see attached screenshot. The last communication I had with the member was to confirm that an refund had been initiated and that she would need to wait for a few days for it to show up in their account.
I have attached a credit note, a screenshot showing that their membership was cancelled as promised and a screenshot of the last communication we had with the member.

I am writing to file a formal complaint against the Interaction Design Foundation regarding an unresolved issue with a refund for a Professional membership I purchased.On April 5, 2024, I purchased a Professional membership from the Interaction Design Foundation for $144. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I canceled the membership on the same day. I was under the impression that I would receive a refund as per their advertised 14-day refund guarantee.Despite canceling within the specified refund window, I have not received any refund or confirmation from the Interaction Design Foundation. This lack of response and failure to honor their refund policy has left me dissatisfied and frustrated.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution.
