    ****, the owner of Allstate Plumbing, is a dishonest businessman. He lied about his representations about the work to be done, and then he refused to finish the job even after I paid him (in fact, overpaid him, as explained, below).1. **** texted me the charges before the job was started. He stated the charges would be the hourly rate and the trip charge, nothing else.2. After the job, **** dishonestly charged me for more than these items, he charged me $15 for a few paper towels and one pair of plastic gloves. (The worker on site confirmed on the phone he only used a few paper towels and one pair of gloves.) Please note **** did not quote me any of this in the original price quote.3. After the job, **** also dishonestly charged me for even more miscellaneous charges that were not in the original price quote. He charged me for "the use of a tool." This is really dishonest stuff. First, as mentioned, it was not in the original price quote. Second, it was simply the use of a tool. No business charges a customer for simply using the tools that are simply required for the work to be performed. Please note this work did not "destroy" the tool or otherwise "severely damage" the tool. I was simply charged for the tool being used. This is extremely dishonest business practice, especially when this charge is not presented to the customer in the original price quote.4. The company charged me for the worker's drive home. This is another extremely dishonest charge. The original price quote cited the price per hour of the worker actually working on the job, not for driving in his car.5. At the end, before payment, I made a verbal agreement with the company that I would include payment for the worker's drive home if and only if the company agreed that the worker would return and fix the kitchen sink w/ cartridge and the company verbally agreed to this arrangement before I made the payment.6. The company later refused to finish the job.Evil, pure evil.
