My experience with Good Flow has been an absolute nightmare. I requested service to get my faucets replaced. They were installed incorrectly and I discovered leaking pipes shortly after they left which caused damage to the cabinet underneath the faucets. After several weeks of not hearing back, I requested the cabinet reskinning this week. I never received a confirmation date or time and received this email response from the team after their team showed up at my place without my knowing/being there There was an email confirmation sent last week for today's appointment. It may have gone to your spam account. There is no proof this was a result of the faucets having a small leak, and the manager ***** discussed not reskinning this cabinet. We only were trying to appease and get you taken care of. We don't have the power to reschedule the cabinet company and we do not reskin cabinets. You will need to find a cabinet company and then we will reschedule. So now Im left with cleaning up the mess the caused on my own as they have not returned any of my calls or responded to my email.Business response

On Dec. 30, 2021, I inquired with Good Flow Pluming if they installed new sewer lines. The acknowledged that they did. We scheduled an appointment, and they came out to my house to view my house and property. I was told that they had worked with Water District 17 in the past and had a good relationship with them.On Jan 10, 2022. I received the quote and Good Flow Plumbing and charged me $78.00 for that trip charge to produce the quote of $26,984.00. They stated that they would apply the $78.00 if I agreed to allow them to do with work.I did want to confirm that the quote did include inspection and ALL permits. ***** called me on Jan 11th and assured me they were ALL included, and they had done this many times. After that confirmation of the permits and fees were indeed all included, I did agree to the contract and signed it on Jan 11th and emailed the signed agreement to Good Flow Plumbing. On Jan 12th, I personally drove to their office and handed them a personal check in the amount of $13,453.00. Later that day, I was called by ***** at Good Flow Plumbing to tell me that they made a mistake and did include the Water District fees of almost $15,000 and I would need to pay that prior to them getting started. I was flabbergasted. He told me that if I wanted to cancel the contract, he understood. I asked them if the had deposited the check already and he stated they did, but I was welcome to stop payment. I knew if I stopped payment, I would have to pay a fee and so would they. I then stated that we should wait, and I would discuss with WD17 if there was any way they could lower their fees or if Good Flow would reduce their price or allow for me to get the trenching for the new sewer pipe done on my own. WD17 absolutely would not lower their fees and Good Flow would not reduce their cost nor allow me to have the trenching completed on my own to their specifications. On Monday Jan 24th, I asked for a complete refund back on my deposit. On Tuesday Jan 25thBusiness response

These are the documents provided by ******* to ***************************. The first I assume was ***** to his purchase of said property dated 04/20/2021 and the latest dated 01/08/2022. These fees are paid directly to ******* by property owner and have nothing to do with the plumbing permit. The statement highlighted in ****************** complaint are false as we did not make a mistake nor did we includes ****************** impact fees. We are not a bank and do not facilitate a customers money. We only charge for the scope work at hand and our permit fee as noted in our bid. I was consevitive in retaining $200 for our time spent on ****************** project as our holy rate and time spent far exceed that amount. I also told **************** I would credit that amount back to the job if he chose to move forward at a later date as you will see in my 02/25/2022 email.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
1) The PRIOR work order from WD17 was for ***********************.Secondly Good Flow Plumbing should have known about these additional fees and stated it their quote that those fees would be my responsibility like they mentioned with the power / electrical needed for the grinders.2) The $200 was never mentioned nor was agreed to. There was no mention of a cancellation charge or an agreement to pay for their time in putting together the quote.I spent many hours working on this with Good Flow Plumbing also, I am not expecting to charge them my HOURLY rate for my time if they did not agree to it.3) The $78.00 Trip Charge was for Good Flow Plumbing to come to my house to provide an quote . Because of their huge error or lack of clarity on the quote provided it rendered that trip charge as a totally useless.4) Keep in mind, Good Flow Plumbing did absolutely no work on my property!!!
Regards,
