They also completely ignored some requests for service if there was no need for it in their fiscal view (example- we had a broken fan for 3 years, with multiple service requests put in place). Biggest thing though was the vague charges in the end (like we paid over $700 in cleaning fees, when I have pictures of a clean house date and time stamped). Do not trust them to their word. Just so it is known...I lost my job during ***** and I was NOT one of the people that did not pay my rent, and I was still treated this way.

First, there was a pile of trash and household items left in the front yard (Just who was supposed to haul off all the stuff you left in the yard and do you think its free to remove it?) There were, multiple holes and stains in the carpets from your dog (which had to be repaired and carpets cleaned), multiple rooms that had to be repainted because of scuffed walls, etc., and touch up thru the hole house. The fact is we spent well over $2000 on cleaning, hauling, painting and repairs that were a direct result of your tenancy. Plus you held over for 4 days past the lease termination and incurred additional rent costs. YOUR DEPOSIT OF $1900 DID NOT COVER ALL OF THESE EXPENSES .All of these expenses have been itemized and documented with receipts provided to you. You actually owe this property owner money for damages that your deposit did not cover. I also have photos and proof of damages. We could have sought damages from you but opted not to. (Perhaps we should rethink this.) I appreciate that you paid rent during Covid but that is no reason to expect us to pay for the cleaning and repairs. I am not saying you trashed the house and I agree you did a cursory cleaning. But the fact is there was significant amount of work that had to be done that was well beyond normal wear and tear. You also left in a hurry (but 4 days late) and left a lot of your stuff behind for us to deal with. So how exactly did we mistreat you?
