1. Didnt want the pictures of my eye taken, dismissed & told its either that or dilation. (Extra fee that used to not be covered by insurance, my insurance did pay $45 they requested even though their allotment was only $39)2. Told that if I purchase 1 yr supply of contacts ($150 provision w/insurance) that I would receive a $50 credit. Later stated they never do such a thing. 3. Was told they had a special program because I was a teacher and they wanted to take care of those people in which they would sell me discontinued frames for $99 + cost of lenses. 4. My insurance requires that I pay $10 co-pay for EP-Comp Exam & $20 co-pay for contact lens fit, level 2. I was not charged anything initially, they sent a text later to charge me $75 (10-25). 5. Went in to order the contacts after wear trial pair, they stated that I didnt pay enough initially and I owed $59 more + $641.60 contacts/yr + $436 for glasses. Total: $1,137.10 6. Girl states it was wrong, $59, because they did factor in the $20 payment (?) and states its really $39. She handed me a bill for $1,078.10. Ran my card through and after I left, checked my bank and had only a charge for $117.10 (11-3). 7. Instinct was telling me this would continue to be a problem, called insurance for a second time. They confirmed some parts of bill are questionable. I returned to business (tell also called to tell me of the charging error) I assumed it would result in more $. I was correct. Argued over how much I should be credited. In the end, I received a $78.10 credit (11-6).8. I requested my rx paperwork and bills. I was charged $192.10 in total. Credited $78.10. Total corrected charge was $114. Still not correct but I wanted out. *Dont know want to do at this point. I should have only paid $30. I feel like they only credited the $78.10 because I disclosed that I was a cancer patient and didnt have the time/energy to deal with them.Business response
