We signed a siding contract with Rey Hernandez/Swift Construction aka Swift Construction and Recycling through ********** employee in July 2021. We were told they were the preferred ********** ****** Board siding installers for past 15 years. They also displayed an A+ BBB accreditation on their website. I'm not really sure where to begin, but after much delay (later found out this was due to Rey Hernandez being in jail for something to do with his recycling business and the County), Swift Construction "started the job", but it only resulted in property damage. They left the house exposed for weeks and multiple rain storms, they broke multiple water pipes with nails, broke multiple electrical wires with nails, ripped the main electrical box off the house which we were later told by our electric company we are lucky it didn't blow the whole house up, broke a window, incorrectly installed front door, incorrectly rewired electrical work (fire hazard) for sliding door install - those are the main points. We're also no having issues with our main water source to the house and we are seeing evidence of a slow leak somewhere in the house, but we've yet to uncover the issue and whether or not it's related to Swift Construction, but after reading some of the new BBB complaints, I fear it might be. We were told repeatedly by ********** employee, this is all normal stuff (Hitting water pipes and wires is part of the deal). He promised we were in good hands b/c these are the ********** preferred installers. Thankfully, I thought to call on my neighbor who is a commercial contractor, but did residential for decades. He validated my concerns, told me this is not normal and advise me to fire them immediately which we did. I was later advised by an independent electrician and by our electrical company provider to report Rey Hernandez and Swift Construction to have his license removed. It's been a nightmare!
