i've submitted my designer sneakers for cleaning . 3/11/2024 and have yet to receive my product. after being promised my sneakers will be shipped 4/14/2024. i've contacted this company numerous times. still no sneakers.Initial Complaint

Hello,I sent a pair of shoes (******************* brand) to this shoe repair service on march 19, and 3 months later, June 22, I still havent gotten them back. I have emailed them in numerous occasions to ask for the shoes but they keep saying they are not done . I think they are hoping I will forget, not sure if they have lost them or maybe they are hoping to resell them since these are expensive shoes. They said the service would be completed in 8 weeks, and it has been 3 months now.Initial Complaint

I was contacted by phone on 2/23/2022 by **** from Cobblers Direct and notified that they could not do the sewing required to repair my shoes.This occurred subsequent to my receiving numerous solicitations for business from them over my email .I finally posted pictures online to them and was informed by them that they could do the necessary work, which is the only reason why I paid for the repair work and the shipping through Fed Ex both ways.It is unreasonable for them to now claim that they can't do the work and charge me any fees after manifesting that they would do the work.Business response

We run an online repair business repairing shoes, boots, handbags and more.
In our business customers reach out to have their items repaired, then will place an order and send it to us for the services. As imagined, not all articles that make it to us can actually be repaired due to the condition of the item when it is sent in for repair. Normal wear/tear on articles can make some of these items un-repairable. This is what happened with *********************************** order. He placed an order then sent in a pair of damaged *********************** sneakers. Our team evaluated the damage, then reached out and told him that the shoes could not be repaired. From here we refunded him for the repair and shipped the shoes back to him.
Very transparent from the start once we received his shoes that the work could not be completed as he hoped, and that he would be refunded accordingly. If he would have inquired on the repair request prior to placing the order and sending his shoes in, we would have informed him then that we could not repair these. However since he placed the order on his own then mailed these in directly, we had to evaluate these before we could inform him of the repair possibilities.
I hope this is resolved accordingly.

I am rejecting this response because:The excuse they have given for not giving me satisfaction are in contrast to their numerous solicitations for business online .I finally submitted Photo illustrations of the damage to my shoes.They(Cobblers Direct)then manifested online that they could do the work at a certain price and I would not have gone to the trouble of shipping the shoes if they had not.
