July 15, 2024, I received a bill from Country Renew with a balance of $5.00 due July 15, 2024. A check was written in the amount of $340.15 for the $5.00 balance and the remainder of 2024. August 3, 2024, I received another bill from Country Renew indicating "opening balance $340.15" with $67.03 due August 15, 2024. This is totally incorrect. My opening balance should have been $0 until January with $67.03 due on January 15, 2025. My monthly payment is $67.03, the $340.15 covered the $5 balance that was due plus August through December 2024. Please notice the date on each statement and letter attached. Never does anyone from Renew Country return calls or messages and I believe that billing is SERIOUS. Therefore, I want a statement of my account, that's updated to reflect the correct balance of $0 until January 2025.Renew Country business number is incorrect on BBB site, please see billing statement for correct number.Initial Complaint

I have been in contract with this company since Apr 2013, Account#**********. The panels located on my home work well when operational. However; my inverters have been malfunctioning (GFCI Issues) since October 2022; and therefore will not operate. I learned this company left town and a contractor has been assigned to this area. However, after speaking with him, it seems like he has been sworn to secrecy as he will not release any information on who to call directly or provide emails. So I had to do some digging. I learned they are operating under another company called Solar ***********, Owned by a *****, based out of *****************. So on 28 Dec 22, I reached out to them @ ************** and spoke with a Pallizi and was told that ****** handles the ********* accounts and was told my info will be forwarded and I will get a call from her. However, that never happened! Since then, I have tried to contact this company a good 25 times by telephone. My calls have not been returned and the answering service says that someone will reach back in 1 to 2 days. I am needing to speak with someone to have the solar panel inverters fixed because, when working I have no issues. My bank account has been automatically drafted for ***** since day-one to the present. So I am paying for a service that I am not receiving. I have learned that there are many others in my neighborhood that are experiencing the same issues; and if forced, I will continue to take further actions for resolution. I have tried to contact this company numerous times by email and telephone. My emails have not been returned and I can not get anyone on the telephone. I am needing to speak with someone to have the solar panels removed because I am having issues with *******. Can anyone please assist me with getting in contact with this company. This is the second time I have had to report this company.Business response

Renew Country came into my neighborhood in *********, ** with a deal on Solar Panels. Since that time I have tried to contact them many times as I am going to have them removed to have my roof done. I am unable to get ahold of anyone. I have left messages as well. I have also contacted the ************************* of ********* and they are looking at it as well. This company was in **********, **, but now are in ******, *****. The whole ***************** had to go and have those panels taken down over the city. These people came to town and got rebates from the Government for installing Solar Panels. I want someone to contact me from Renew Energy and leave me a message with contact details. They had continued to take out money out of my account each month. I have now changed accounts and have not heard a word from them. Something needs to be done about these snake oil salesmen.Business response

Sorry for the late response. I am arranging the removal of customer's system. Unfortunately, Just taking time to get the removal of solar system scheduled. I have talked to ************ and informed her that I will let her know soon about the date.
As of now I have schedule dates for end of June from the Technicians, but I am planning to get this done sooner than that.
