I had an appointment scheduled at Pinnacle Motion Therapy back in September of 2022. I was not able to make the scheduled appointment due to illness and notified the business with more than 24 hours notice. I was charged for the visit for $120. I asked for a refund since I would not be able to make the appointment. The owner claimed he was unable to refund payments by credit card for some reason. I was highly disappointed and thought maybe at a later date Id reschedule the appointment since I paid for it in full already and the owner was refusing refunding the money. After a few months I reached out again to the owner via text requesting the refund again. I was ignored by the owner with no response. I then reached out again the next day requesting a refund for services that were never provided. He responded and said he would look into it and text me back later that day as he was working at the time. I waited and did not receive any response for two days. I once again reached out showing him the text messages from September when I initially requested the refund because he was having a hard time remembering the situation. I then showed him proof of the payment (which Ive attached). After hours of deliberating he finally understood that I was due a refund since he did not provide the service I initially paid for, showed proof of payment, and was not going to give up on getting back what was rightfully mine. He then told me he could not refund the full amount since he had to pay taxes on the income. I explained to him that he did not earn that income and I shouldnt be penalized for a tax for income he did not earn. He finally returned to me $80 on 3/19. I would like my full amount refunded along with an additional payment for the time I spent trying on multiple occasions to get a simple refund which ended up taking roughly 6 months. This is risk of doing business with a small business that is unorganized, unprofessional and trying to steal money from customers.
