As of 5/20/23 My 2015 KIA ******* MAROON, was repossessed by the east west auto due to a one late payment and defaulted insurance. First off the vehicle is extremely over priced as well as the check engine light was on and the tire sensor is bad ($100.00 to replace). Had already ******* + miles on it. I had jus talked to the female representative tue before the repo to let her know I had to replace two tires and the a frame totaling $400.00 but that I'll have a payment soon. She said that was fine. When I arrived the day of the repo they demanded I pay *******. That is current payment two future payments a tune up, and repo fee. I feel violated, disrespected, and extremely displaced. I'm facing being homeless because I have them all I had to retain my vehicle. I think they're running a faulty business and are scamming people outta there money. I don't see how what they did to me was at all legal. The ***** blue book value is $3304 00 if all was in food condition. I'd like all of my money back aside from $3300.00, I've spent over 5k by far. I have receipts as well. They did an oil change which i had already done which was my 3rd one. They said I hadn't even when I told them I have proof. These people are unprofessional and seem out to scam hard working folks like myself with high over priced used cars 10yr old and more so. Please call or email me at your earliest convenience. Your complaint seems to mis represent some facts. When account is in
default for cancelled full coverage insurance, late payments a dealer
who is a lienholder of a secured collateral under ***** Finance contract
has a right to accelerate or ask for full amount due according to a
contract. Lienholder may reposess its secured collateral if you are in
default of a contract without notice. You claim to had paid two payment
in advance which is not truth. In a contract we had signed there is a
clause **** of ***** Vehicle: i will keep motor vehicle in good repair
status. Your vehicle even with ****** miles driven for almost a year is still worth $8000-$10000according to jdpower market guide not $3000 as you claim in your complaint.. May we also remind you that we are not legally obligated to work with any customer who is breach of contract for late payments or cancelled full coverage insurance.Customer response
