      my first treatment was on April 12.. And real green used a spray application. They did not apply it evenly and it is obvious from the burned arcs where it was applied. I now have burned semicircular arcs where they killed my grass and oh yes the weeds. Im guessing the concentration was too strong or the tech applied too much and not evenly. Not likely the later since he was only out here for a very short period.The service manager came out and again reiterated the companys line that this is not typical and wanted to apply even more chemicals to bring back the areas that were over treated. After a few more days of watching the yard response it is obvious that the treatment was not applied over much of the yard. The small areas which were treated are burned.

      TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I bought a yard aeration service from Real Green but the dirt plugs didnt come out like they should so they told me they would come back and redo the service after we had some soaking rain. This was in July of last year and we never had any great soaking rain, then came winter. I had been in communication with them several times and each time they had just said call us when you are ready to have the service redone and well send someone out. NO TIME LIMIT WAS GIVEN. I called them yesterday to re-schedule and was told that its been too long, and they would not honor the promise they made. I spoke to ****, the manager, who then offered to split the cost of another yard aeration service with me to which I asked why I should split the cost when this is a service I had already paid for but they did not do properly and I that I have done nothing wrong. She said it had been too long. If that was the case, they should have let me know there was a time limit to having this redone on the couple occasions I was in contact with them about this. So now this company has our money, and we have a lawn that has not been aerated properly, and a broken promise to return to fix their s**** up!

      On 7/18/22, we aerated customer's lawn thoroughly.  Customer wasn't happy with results so we sent ******* Manager out who verified technician did perform a quality job, but there weren't good plugs pulled, generally a sign that the lawn wasn't watered enough as instructed.  In an effort of good ****** ******* Manager told customer he would have the technician come back and perform that service at no cost for customer satisfaction.  ************ Manager gathered the customer's watering day (Sunday) and on 7/21/22, we called and left voicemail for customer to let him know that we will be out on 8/8/22 to perform his aeration.  Then, we also gave another call on 8/5/22 (Friday before it was scheduled) to remind him that we'll be out on 8/8/22 and to water his lawn.  At that point, customer said he didn't want the service on 8/8/22.  We haven't heard from customer until now, 8 months later.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      ***** asked his service manager ***** to come out same-day to aerate my yard at no-charge, ***** did a great job.

      This correspondence is to report deceptive advertising by Real Green ********* and Pest Control.Specific Concern:? Real Green disseminated postcards via US Mail advertising an Introductory ********* Offer of $19.95.? The Company has embedded loopholes in this offer which enables them to NOT honor their advertisement.What is NOT stated on the postcard:? The special is ONLY available if the consumer commits to an annual agreement. [NOTE: Per a Sales Representative (****** at ************), Real Green does NOT offer single lawn treatment. They ONLY accept annual plans.]? The advertised special cannot be combined with any other discount offered.Why the advertising is deceptive:? Real Green only accepts annual plans.? The total cost of the Basic ********* Program is $414.16 for 8 treatments.? Payments may be made monthly for $34.51 or per treatment for $51.77.? Real Green 'does' provide a discount to customers who choose to pay the full year in advance; total cost is approximately $381.03.? Per the Administrative Manager (**** at ************), the $19.95 special is ONLY applicable to the first payment on the 12-month program.? Logically, customers will elect to pay a one-time cost of $381.03, vice a 12-month or per treatment cost of $414.16.? From my perspective the $19.95 advertisement is merely for the purpose of drawing customers.? Real Greens unstated restrictions places them in a position to never honor their $19.95 special.

      The $19.95 advertised special is given to customers who choose to enroll in our basic lawn care program, with a lawn size of less than ***** square feet, and who choose to pay by monthly installments.  When these 3 criteria are met, then the customer qualifies for that special, which is $19.95 for their first monthly payment.  We have already set up hundreds of qualified customers with this special in 2023.  Not all of our customers choose to pay for the full year in advance, so paying by monthly installments and receiving a discount on their first month is very appealing to them.  There is no false advertisement as the coupon states "Call for Details".  The details of the coupon are what I have explained here.  Unfortunately, we can't fit all of that verbiage on a postcard.  We have used this same special on the same postcard for about 10 years now.       I have contacted for the past two months via phone and Contact Us on Real Greens site to address our burned, weed infested, black spotted grass. The calls and Contact Us have all gone unanswered. Previously before two months ago, I spoke with agents at Real Green to address the pervasive weeds, treatments not working and was promised it would be fixed. Not only was it not fixed, now for the past two months my calls and Contact Us have gone unanswered and are ignored! I am beyond frustrated as we are paying a lot of money for services that are sub par and the customer service, non existent.I have requested immediate termination of services and seeking a refund of one month.Thank you.

      Before today, we last heard from this customer on 7/20/21.  At that time, she stated that she had weeds in her lawn.  We sent a technician out to treat for weeds, which he did on 7/26/21.  Prior to hearing from this customer on 7/20/21, no correspondence was ever submitted in regards to the condition of her lawn, or service in general.  We record all phone calls and email submittals, and there is nothing to retrieve regarding this account.  We are under the impression she may be thinking of another service provider as we are very meticulous in our record keeping and pride ourselves on excellent customer service.

      Thank you for the email. As discussed, I have called numerous times and left messages for the staff at Real Green regarding the pervasive weeds, burnt grass, black spots, etc., all that have gone unanswered for a couple of months. I tried several times via Real Greens Contact Us feature on their website as well to notify them of the issues. All unanswered. I sent an email to BBB and the next day, called Real Green again first thing in the morning and spoke with ****. She wanted to just take a message but I was polite, asked for a manager and explained the situation. It was not until I told **** that I contacted BBB did she pass my call to ****, manager.

      **** immediately was in denial of the calls, not receiving any Contact Us emails, etc. I asked to speak to the biz owner and reminded and re-informed her that all contacted BBB. She not only was in further denial, she wanted to continue services and charge me for services and or prorate.

      I am beyond frazzled with this! This is not the Wild West and unscrupulous and unprofessional behavior and treatment, I do not deserve.

      I am attaching via email 2 evidence of the weeds, etc. Thank you for your assistance.
