      I took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked them if they could check out why my check engine light came on? The advisor Ashley told me it would take 1-2 days to check it out. So I took my vehicle on a Thursday, only to wait until the following Monday about my vehicle. I waited all day Monday until an hour before they closed. I called and asked about my vehicle. She stated that she had information that morning but didn’t have time to give me a call for an update. My concern was why she couldn’t cal my warranty department when she figured out what was wrong with my vehicle. It took me calling and complaining to have her call to file that claim. Then tells me it’s going to take a day or two to receive the part. Which was a thermostat! Mind you a guy I spoke to whom works there said it was a quick fix and is usually done same day. Come that Friday I ask about my car again for her to tell me that it wasn’t going to be ready. So at this point im beyond irritated because of not having a vehicle and the bull crap going on. I asked if I were to had paid for it would my vehicle be ready sooner, she said yes we’d get it fix right away. But because it was a warranty claim they took all their sweet time to fix my car. Again I asked could I be compensated for all the run around and she said “unfortunately we can’t do anything for that”. Yes at this point I was beyond frustrated, I said this was bs that they couldn’t compensate me for everything going on. She said I was putting words in her mouth that she never said when all I did was repeat what she told me. I asked for the service manager and that conversation was beyond stupid! She had the nerve to say I was a liar and said she heard the conversations we had, then changed her story and said she heard one conversation. Who’s the liar here? Then got upset because I wouldn’t let her talk. And said she was returning the same way I talked to her, very unprofessional. Then had the audacity to hang up on me after

      I would have given a half star if it would have allowed me to. My family and I have purchased vehicles from Baytown Nissan since the mid 1980's when they were still located on North Main near Ward Rd. Collectively we have probably purchased about 15 new and used cars from them. After a recent experience with the service department and dealership management, my family and I will NEVER buy or take a car for service to them ever again. Furthermore I have begun to and will continue to tell all of my friends, family, coworkers, strangers etc the horrible experience I encountered the last few months of 2021. To summarize my experience, I had an electrical issue with my 2016 Nissan Frontier after an accident that was to be paid by the other drivers insurance. Baytown Nissan service department had the vehicle for over 2 weeks, were difficult to get answers from and then gave a very questionable diagnosis. When I tried to get explanations from VAL the service advisor, he said he didn't have time to discuss it. I physically went to the service department to try to get answers and basically was told by VAL, his supervisor and the acting General Manager that this was there diagnosis and that is what they would do to repair, even though they weren't sure it would fix the problem. Long story short, I had no air conditioner in the truck from June until November and when the part finally came in, of course it did not resolve the issue. I took my vehicle to ***** **** Nissan in December and they had the problem diagnosed and repaired within 5 days.  ** *****!!!! DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE THERE....
