My transmission went out. I paid Ideal Transmission to overhaul my transmission. That was the option they recommended. They stated that my car would be under warranty for any repairs to the transmission afterward and in 2 weeks I would have to bring my car back for a "check up" on the transmission. They took months instead of two weeks to contact me for the actual check up. From the time they initially completed the repairs in January to present, my vehicle has been in their shop 3 times. Each time they seemingly found a separate issue costing more money. Currently they have had my vehicle for a month for a warranty related repair. The transmission is pouring out transmission fluid. I initially called and reported a small leak once I got it back from it second repair and they never contacted me back like they said they would to take a look at the small leak. They only recieved my car once the fluid began to pour out and the car was not driveable and no contact was made from them about any repairs for a month now. They avoid my calls and when they do actually answer they say my car is being worked on and might be ready in a few days.Business response

Mrs. Thibodeaux brought her **** Escape to us having transmission issues, we checked it out and she agreed for us to overhaul the transmission, we even agreed to let her pay on it she picked it up in oct. 2023.In March 2024 she came in complaining of a noise it was her driver side wheel bearing we replaced it ,which that is not part of the transmission so there was a charge. Then in April she called and said it was pouring fluid and would not move , she got it to me and after checking it out the fly wheel was cracked and damaged the torque convertor so we repaired and replace the transmission at no charge and she only paid for the flywheel we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. if she is having a issue with the transmission she has not notified me .S he does have other issues with her Escape that is not related to the transmission.
