We scheduled for Professor Pipes to provide an estimate due to a hot water leak under the slab of our house. The plumber came and stated his boss told him he needed to run the line to see where the pipes were at. The technician stated it was $325 but if we used their company they would credit it to the total price we would owe. I paid the money, he ran the line, then an emailed estimate was sent the next day. Our insurance agent requested additional information on the estimate. I forwarded what the agent needed to the plumber and asked if a new estimate could be provided with more detail. I have not heard back from the company since that time on 12/14/23. We have sent multiple emails, texts, and have called multiple times with zero response. We paid the money in expectation that this company would complete the job but we have had no response, had to hire a different plumber, and have lost $325 for no purposeful reason.
