I ordered and purchased a black out shade from Texas Sun and Shade on 6/8/2020(I paid 1/2 down). Deep wrinkles were on the shade after hanging, and I was promised that the wrinkles would disappear when faced in the direction of the sun. They never did. They have reinstalled a newer shade twice, and the same problem exists. I was never informed prior to purchase and installation that there was ANY chance of wrinkling. I have either called them or texted them or had them come to my condo 37 times from 6/17/20-8/14/23. The issue has never been resolved. Yesterday they offered a $500 discount on the balance owed. This still leaves a balance of $594 which they said I have to pay or I will get sent to collections.I have always paid for any service done for me, and I am 70 years old. I have an excellent credit score, and have never been dinged. I have offered them $300 to settle. PLEASE ADVISEBusiness response

Thank you for the feedback and for the opportunity to resolve this matter. Here at Texas Sun and Shade we pride ourselves with delivering quality products and customer satisfaction.
From the very beginning we have communicated with ***************** that a shade this big will cause a deflection on the fabric. This is just a natural state that happens when a fabric this big hangs on a tube, not that there is any defect on the fabric or the tube. Our offer was we could spilt the fabric which will create a a gap in the middle and ***************** had expressed that she did not want that.
As to Mrs. ******* point, we have returned multiple times to find ways in making the deflection of the fabric as minimal as possible. Our returns have always been to work inside of Mrs. ******* satisfaction. As you can see, it has taken a few years to complete this project.
We have recently sent a request for final payment from ***************** as this project is complete. Now after a few years of ***************** using our shade, we are more than happy to give her a full refund and remove the shades, we are also happy to split the shades and this will remove the deflection and we have offered a more than generous discount to satisfy ******************Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:Deceptive information when purchasing the product. I was "promised" that the wrinkles would relax after being exposed to the sun. This never happened with both shades installed. Three years is enough time to make good on the shade. I was never advised to "split" the shade-and was never told upon purchase that splitting would be necessary. *********** quit his job the day after my order. From that point in time, I had problems. Check out the reviews of the company on Google.
