I am writing to file a complaint against this Company. They billed us $139.64 for termite warranty and annual inspection services they allege were performed on 3/1/2024 and 5/11/2024, totaling $279.28. We never signed a contract with this company, nor authorized these services. We purchased house in 2021, the previous owners provided a termite inspection provided by Termio. We did not sign a contract and the initial free inspection was done at no charge to us, as it was paid by prev owners. We recently began receiving invoices from Barefoot alleging they performed termite inspections on our property in March and May of 2024 and that we owe for those services. I sent an email to them on 7/2/2024 informing them we didn't authorize/receive svcs. No response. On or around 7/18/2024, I called the company and spoke with a ***resentative, requesting a manager call me back to resolve. To date, no response.The facts are as follows: 1. The company did not provide the services listed on the statement for March and May because they could not access our backyard due to a locked gate. 2. On 3/1/2024, a *** from a pest control company rang doorbell. My mom told them they needed to speak with me. I immediately came to door and the *** drove off. He was there less than 3 minutes. 3. On 5/11/2024, we were home all day, and no one came to our house. Again, they cannot access our backyard because we have a pool so the gate is locked at all times. How could they perform a proper inspection if they don't have full access to property? I find it interesting that the driver drove off immediately after ringing doorbell and speaking to my mother. I would've informed him of the issue at that time. It's very interesting that no one responded to the email or returned our phone calls.
