  I hired *** to remodel my grandpas house my grandfather is 84yrs old by the way so the job started on July 17th with the bathroom remodeling then when they tore into everything and had to end up replacing pipes for the kitchen and cabinets cause the cabinets were rotted from the water leak so he told me personally by word of mouth that it would be around another 6k to do the kitchen plus appliances so that with appliances would been around 14k or 15k and we said ok that's cool we picked out everything that we wanted for the bathroom and kitchen he changed alot of things without approval put things in that we didn't agree to instead of putting in what we told him to cause it was gonna cost him more money it is like pulling teeth to get him to do any work for the last 2 months nobody has showed up to work on the house when we bring up an issue with him about anything he says he will fix it or send some workers and never does anything my grandfather is 84yrs old and is living in filth right now cause they have not finished what he was hired to do and he has been paid in full and since he got paid he really hasn't done anything to the house and he also over charged us a few thousand dollars and said it was cause of this and that but yet he put in cheaper quality stuff then what we picked out the thing is he is dating my cousin and they have problems he has wrecked 2 cars of hers and had to replace them and we feel like he took our money to replace her cars or finish other jobs insted of finishing what he has been paid in full for already my grandpa cries at times cause he is tired of living in trash can't take a decent shower cause his shower chair is unsafe his shower doors are not properly put in we just want him to finish what he has been paid for so we can be done with him business wise I found out from other people that's used him that he is not a responsible person he is a ***** if I knew this before I wouldn't have hired him I would have went else where.

  I had hired black row construction in February 2021 for a 40 by 20 ft deck. Price *******. The employees did not show up on time half the time and rushed through the job, even as much as made steps to get onto the deck with a two by four and two concrete pieces for it to stand on. Multiple attempts were made that year to talk to the owner as we had never met him. Our deck was creaking, splitting, and was not level. And the concrete posts were starting to show as if they didnt dig down low enough. In our contract it states all of these things would be replaced. They send out *** in September 2021 who came and tried to put putty on the cracks instead of fix the bowed wood. He refused to listen to us when we showed him the contract and was very disrespectful so we told him to please go home. I informed the secretary (*******?) what was happening and she ensured me she would get it handled. We never did get someone else to come out and look at our deck until late September of 2022. I actually got to speak and see the owner ******* in person. He apologized and said he could fix it or we could get our money back. We opted for our money back after looking at reviews on their platform. He sent me an email stating we would have something in 30 days before our wedding on Oct 22,2022. That has never happened. I have contacted him weekly and sometimes many times a week with no response or excuses on why we couldnt get the money. On 12/6/22 he asked to do a payment plan and when I agreed no response. On 12/7/2022 I asked him for an update and explained that I would not like to take legal action but it had been over 90 days. He refused to answer at that time. We just want our money back so we can repair the deck with a more reputable person who is going to fix it the right way and have better communication.
