I am *******************, son of my Elderly (87yr Old) mother. She took her car in for an oil change at Kwik Kar *********** on Jan 13, 2022, and was informed that the transmission fluid was dirty and needed to be changed. She paid ****** for that service. Her vehicle mileage was *****. Approximately 12 months later, she returned to Kwik Kar *********** for another oil change at ***** miles, on her 2010 ***** 6. Only **** miles later. ******************** told my mother that the transmission fluid was in need of replacement again. She was Charged ****** on Dec. 29, 2022. My mother just discovered the double transmission service while reviewing her yearly expenditures. On July 25, 2023, I took my mother to ******************** and asked the manager, what normal transmission mileage intervals were? He said approximately ****** miles in between changes. I showed the receipts to the attendant, showing only **** miles since they changed my mother's transmission fluid and asked for a refund. He said he was unable to provide that service. I informed him that i would file a complaint with the Better Business bureau.
