  I paid ************************* who owns Jims Construction, $5000 to prime, paint and attach trim in entire house, install a shower door, and finish stairway. ************* also was to paint interior of house for another $5000. For a total of $10,000. ************* wanted $5000 in advance and it was paid by cashiers check. ************* then tore out flooring without permission saying he couldnt put trim on if it wasnt correct. ************* was told To use quarter round and agreed but then tore out flooring while I was gone. He taped some areas of the house in livingroom and kitchen only in preparation for painting. He began a backsplash in Kitchen that he originally offered to do for free if I bought the materials. I bought all Paint and all materials for everything associated with entire job and ************* said $10,000 was for labor only. Within 2 days ************* began saying it wasnt enough money. He did very little work. He taped and covered; the windows in livingroom, fireplace and kitchen cabinets. He began priming some paint trim and tore out an approximately 9x12 area of flooring without permission and I had to buy replacement flooring which he reinstalled. He began a backsplash in kitchen. When i refused more money he said he would talk to his workers to take less money but he believes they would quit. I refused more money and ************* quit the job. He claims he is a professional And claims the amount of work he did is $5000 worth. I calculated that ************* had performed approximately $350 maximum of of incomplete work. I also had to clean up his mess he left. He asked me as part of payment to put a $1200 ******* on my credit Card which i did not. He stated his wife treats him like a child and he built his own living area onto their house and wanted the tv for that. He suggested I put it on my credit card so his wife wouldnt know how he much he is making. ****************** me money back of $4650. He never showed up until 2-3 pm when he said 8am and his workers sat around until he got there.

  The complaints against me are false. The alleged customer agreed to work with the amount of $5000. I quoted a price of $10000 at the beginning of the job. She then asked if I could do the work until I run out of money. This was not to complete the job but do as much as I could until funds were depleted. She asked if I could finish the rest of the work and finance the rest of the money. I have text messages from me and her to show the agreements.
