      In March of 2022 i took my 2008 **** f250 to bowie diesel to have a look at it . **** the owner said the engine need to be rebuilt so i said how long will it take he said a month if that so i gave him ***** to get started he said for parts. Months passed and i told him what the problem he said parts are slow cause of covid so i said ok. 2022 passed but i was going atleast once a month to check on my truck and nothing. So in march of 2023 he finalle gave me my **** i tryed it for a day keeped making a knocking sound so i took it back also because it was leaking oil . So i took it to hes garage said it was the timing cover leaking so he send it off to get rebuilt so i waited. Then told me it never made it to hes yard so he had to order one . He finally got it put it on and called me said it was ready . I picked it up again was vibrating very bad and still knocking sound. So then he changed the rocker arm . He ordered the rocker arms put them on but still making knocking sound . This time it was the new turbos he ordered for my pick up but the warranty for one year expired . And i told im not paying for them again because i have never driven the truck for like a day . So he bought the turbos payed them out of hes pocket . Then still making the knocking sound so i went 10/30 and ask when is my truck going in shop and he said i have spend alot of money on the turbos . So i told hom why woukd that be my problem if he would of fixed and broke down after warranty it would be on me but i havent drove the truck for more like a day . I keep calling him and he just tells me i let you know when i get to it.So now its been in garage for 19 month not working and i have put power steering pump , turbos , injectors , new engine and alot more parts i have invoices now im just afrain when he gets it ready all the parts warranty will be over and why would i have to pay for it again . And when i see him it just seems like he dont care And told him can i take it to another shop he said if you do it will void my work

      Hello ****, 

      I am very aware of the frustration you have! We have been covering everything under warranty so far. So I will start by saying this, the truck has not been here for the consecutive 19 months you previously stated! You took the truck for at-least few months out the time its been back and forth. I dont think its fair that you filed a complaint as we have been working with you and not once have told you that we will not work on it under warranty. We do have a full shop with a lot of torn apart vehicles that are being worked on at the moment and I told you this! You did say that you should go first since you were here first but we did just pull your truck out of the shop after installing the new turbochargers since the others failed. You did call me on 10/30 and asked about it and I told you once we got a lift open we would pull it back into shop and open the motor and see what the issue was. But if you would like to take it somewhere else i would totally understand! That will be between you and the shop you decide to take it to. I feel like we have been very helpful of the situation and been trying to work with you to get this resolved immediately, but like I said we cant just stop the work on the vehicles that are in the shop currently to start working on yours again.       On 10/30 **** also told me he was fixing to pull a fire truck out of the bay and put mine in the bay to work on it . I just passed by there its 11/7/ and my truck sitting in same place . I know you not worried about the truck since  you have been payed . And yet i have no truck . And about me having the truck for a couple of months in my house thats not true i have witnesses that are always asking me why my truck is still in shop . I just think with my truck being in shop for so long and has been payed for work done to it i just think my truck should be priority. Just give me a date when it will be ready . And yes i have thought about taking to another mechanic but i dont think i need to pay since youve been payed for the work plus you said it will void my warranty on engine .

      Its not under warranty im paying out of my pocket . And i have asked him about taking my truck to another mechanic but he said that if i take it that will void the warranty of the work he has done  . And suppossibly when he finishes it will have 2 year unlimited miles on warranty with Bowie Diesel

      I talked to **** on 1/10/24 he finally put it in the bay to work on my truck . He took the engine apart he sent me a picture of pick up been in bay . But i dont know when its gonna be finished . Getting close to 20 months

      Paid 6,000.00 up front on 8/12/2019. This amount was requested to be able to order and purchase the parts needed. The truck was supposed to have had a diesel exhaust fluid delete. We have taken the truck to the shop 4x. The first time was for a little over a week. The other times have been about 2 weeks, and currently has been at his shop since 9/19/21. This last time we were told it would be a week to be done then when we call he asks for "another week" and here we have had it pushed out for 2 weeks now. We have been very patient. We spoke with them today and they're asking to get until Monday/Tuesday of next week to have it done. They claim to have had the parts since this past Friday. I feel like we should've been a priority since we know that other vehicles have been taken and done before ours. We have texts, transaction receipts to prove what we are stating. They also put the blame on other departments stating they were sent wrong parts numerous times, delivery being delayed, and that the company they ordered the parts from wouldn't give them a reimbursement and they could only get store credit. We were still being patient and asked to get bumpers ordered with the store credit he claimed they could only do for him. We waited for the bumpers about for about 3 months and even asked for receipts and nothing was provided. Then he claimed he cancelled the order for the bumpers and stated we would get reimbursement at that time and we waited and never got it. Then he said he was going to get the work done and since then we have taken it to him 2x. We haven't rented a car. We have had to ask family for help on transportation. Also this is my husbands work truck and he hauls his rv and unfortunately he hasn't been able to and this is money out of his pocket he's had to pay to stay at hotels since he travels all over the USA for work. My husband was given a week off of work to get this done and he has had to miss work due to this.

He did pay some money upfront to cover parts. Unfortunately when the parts were ordered within the next week or 2 the company that was supplying parts and software in order to complete the job shut down there sales regarding to that department. Let customer know and tried to get a refund but unfortunately where the parts were purchased through would not allow a refund. Customer ended up changing his mind and did place a order for some bumpers but we never did receive bumpers due to having a parts shortage and being out of stock for months. Again some months passed *** let customer know we could get some other performance parts with the credit he had and he agreed. We got the parts in and customer came to drop off truck to get these parts installed and while I was talking to him, I let him know that I had found another company that supplied the software to complete the original job. He then said he would rather due that instead of installing the parts we had in hand. So returned everything and ordered new software from this other company and they did take a little while since it's all custom software. I did express to customer that this would be the first truck that we would do the work to and to bare with us since didn't have much knowledge since it was a first for us. Well he dropped off truck and we sent out the parts we needed to in order to complete job and they did take longer than anticipated. Finally got the parts back on a Friday evening like the customers wife explained. We are closed on weekends so could not work on it till Monday. Called customer Monday and let him know that it will take a couple of extra days since it was more work than expected. He then said he would just pick truck up and take it elsewhere. We agreed and put the parts in the bed of the truck that we had on hand. I'm process of getting refund from company.
