After storms last year I had this company re-roof and re-side my house, the siding is not all attached to the house and is coming lose in several places and not overlapped, some of the roof trim is missing. I contacted the company and all I got was cussed out and told they would not come back out.Business response

Sir, I believe you are misrepresenting the facts and circumstances of your complaint. We had two separate occasions in which you were intoxicated and being confrontational. While we enjoy working for our customers, we also have expectations of the customer to treat our crew members with common decency. We are not REQUIRED to fix NEW DAMAGES that occurr after completion of a project! The team offered to repair the damages that resulted from the bbq grill melting your siding as a courtesy, even after you displayed the conduct unbecoming of a gentleman. Had a new roof installed on 8/28/18 by then B&K ******************************** LLC, now Aboveboard Construction LLC. Also had an exhaust pipe cut and installed on 1/29/22. Upon having a roof inspection on 7/20/22, found multiple issues with overall installation. Vent pipes were not sealed around rubber covers and and nails allowing rain and moisture to get in causing failure. Nails across entire roof and flashing were not sealed causing failure. Metal flashing not nailed down and sealed causing failure. Soffit and fascia that was to be replaced was not. Instead was covered up by new shingles and vinyl fascia siding. This has resulted in soffit and fascia being rotted away, exposing a hole. Rubber roof was also installed, screws/nails not sealed around entirety. Areas of this are unstable to walk on as material underneath is either not support properly or rotted, crunching and soft. Have contacted company on 7/21/22. Told them there were issues and agreed to come take a look on 7/22/22. Did not show up and did not return calls. Have attempted to contact multiple times with no success.Business response

We are sorry to hear about the issues that you feel we neglected to address. We provide a scope of work with every contract and the issues that you describe are outside of the scope of work that was agreed upon. All roof replacements and repairs are sealed properly according to manufacturers recommended installation guidelines at the time of installation. Items that were included in the scope of work are completed in accordance with existing site conditions that are known at the time of installation. We regret to inform you that any structural changes to the existing system is not covered under warranty due to it not being included with the scope of work we were contracted to do.

I am rejecting this response because:Per contract from 8/28/18, soffit was to be repaired. It was not. Rotten fascia was to replaced. It was not.
Per contract from 1/29/22, flash was to be installed around duct pipe. It was not.
Multiple points of contact had been attempted to the company by myself and others with no response.
