Dear *********************,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We always enjoy hearing from our customers.
During production, our cartons are flipped upside down and sent to a blast freezer where the ice cream freezes to the lid creating a natural seal. The lids are frozen tightly to the carton. Any attempt at opening the product should be noticeable. In addition, Blue **** personnel frequently service our accounts and are trained to remove any items that appear damaged or may have been tampered with.
The safety of our ice cream is our highest priority, and we work hard to maintain the highest level of confidence of our customers. We believe tampering with our products or any consumer product is very serious. We understand your concerns, and we are always looking for ways to improve, including looking at methods within our manufacturing process to add additional protection to the carton.
We are disappointed your ************** Cream and Homemade ********************* Cream seemed to have been melted in the cartons. Soft ice cream is a sign that your freezer may not be set cold enough or it is not freezing properly. Because of the high cream content of ice cream it is essential that your freezer maintains -SF or colder.
We appreciate the comments we receive from our consumers and have passed yours along. Please enjoy the enclosed certificate for a half gallon of Blue **** Ice Cream. From all of us here at Blue ****, have a great day!
