I hired Brenham Gutter Specialist (BGS) to install gutters on my home and two metal building. I paid half, $3,016.50, up front. BGS install the house but left. They returned to install leaf guards and from the ground I could see they had compromised the shingles. I found water would stand on the roof and over 1" standing on one of the gutters. Using a ladder I could see compromised downspouts by bending "V's" in every single section. They did not use industry standard Gutter Outlets but rather cut and bent gutters to accommodate screws connecting 3x4" downspouts and most openings were only 1-2".Leaf guards they promoted were to s**** to the gutters and eve of the house adding strength. They installed under shingle leaf guards which compromised the shingles. They returned to correct this after I complained and repaired to some degree some of the downspouts. Instead of changing the leaf guards they bent them and some of the roof edging. They did not repair the downspouts against the house. With the downspouts bent into "V" shapes they are permanently compromised and the joints to not fit tightly. On the front of the house they have a downspout pointing the wrong direction. The idea of gutters is to channel water away foundations. They merely channeled it to the other side or into the flower beds which backs up and overflows.They corrected to some degree the gutter on the back of the house that held over an inch of water but merely lowered the downspout end leaving a gap between the roofline and top of the gutter. That allows water to get behind the gutter and drip. The downspout there is turned 90 degree from what is should so there is no way to repair it. I requested Gutter Outlets be installed and the gutter on the back needs to be replaced.They offered some refund as well as a complete refund if I took the gutters down and cut them up. They backed out of the complete refund and I have seen nothing of the partial refund after two weeks.
