Do not buy a headstone through Boren Conner. Back in October 2020 we ordered a headstone for my son. Patricia at Boren Conner said because of covid it may take 4 months. I heard nothing from them. so I called at 4 months and they said it should be in on the next truck. Again at 6 months and they would say... maybe its taking longer because they were backed up. A month goes by. I call and was told a truck was delivering some and maybe my sons was on it. I continue to call monthly. Then the lady Patricia that orders the monuments is sick. Very sick, and nobody at the whole funeral home knows nothing till she comes back. My heart goes out to the family for having a sick family member but if you run a business you need to have more than 1 person know something about the paperwork. I mean if I owed them money I bet they would find a way to take a payment. Finally in October 2021 I called and told Patricia to cancel my order. She said I think its on the next delivery. I will call you as soon as it gets here. Once and we never get a call. So we go to Boren Conner in Jacksonville on November the 9th. Patricia says "oh my I am so sorry. You order was lost and I just found it this week and sent it in". We asked to see proof that she sent it and she goes in the back and comes back with a paper that shows it was ordered on November 7th. It had been ordered only 2 days. This was a month after I asked for my money back. Finally in January of this year....I dont remember exact date, I called and Patricia said it was in. So we asked to see it because well, she had lied before so we wanted proof. We go to look at it and it is done right by the monument company. Now a month has gone by and they still haven't delivered it to the graveside. You would think that they would make it top priority since they had done us wrong for 2 years. I have called and complained to the Borens and they always say they will call me back. I've left messages on
