Said shower door wasn't included in the original bid when the contract states it is. Hot water and cold water isn't working in the shower, didn't finish the bathroom remodel.

This project is still considered in progress and is under contract. The shower door glass was already in possession by the customer prior to the job starting with our company. Customer requested that the glass that was already in her possession attempt to be used in the project. it states in the original contract that the glass was approved by the customer.  Unfortunately, the customer-supplied glass was the incorrect size for the shower. We attempted to see if the glass could be cut to size by consulting a glass company. Unfortunately - it could not be cut. The customer was informed of this and has communicated with us to price out glass door options for her. The hot and cold water valves are still under construction as we are sourcing cartridges for the valves. Currently there is both hot and cold water in the shower, but the cartridges are not mixing the temperature - which is why we are sourcing replacement cartridges to mix the hot and cold water.  All of this has been communicated to the customer both verbally and in writing.

I am rejecting this response because: customer approved meaning I pick out the shower door just like the customer approved tile that I picked out for the shower walls. The tile I had states customer supplied shower floor tile.

The bottom of the contract reads. Price point accounts for all labor,
      materials (less customer supplied),
and equipment needed to complete the
      job.

It does not  say customer supplied shower door.

The hot/cold was never in our scope of work.  Our scope consisted of moving the, already installed, valves so that they were plumb and in-line with the opposite shower wall.  Plumbing was already in the wall prior to us starting the job.  **** called on me to see if this issue could be remedied.  We determined the remedy and advised her accordingly.

As for the shower door, she had one at her house prior to the job starting.  That door could not be used based on its size and could not be cut because it was tempered glass.  I have a text message thread with **** where she asks me to not price a shower door because she did not have the funds for it.  An offer of resolution has been made to **** about the the shower door.  I made two offers, (1) a $400 dollar refund for the labor I put into the quote for the install of her door or (2) offered to install her new purchased door for free.  We have yet to receive a response from her regarding the offer.

I am rejecting this response because: I have text messages that say otherwise which I attached. All this company does is lie. I have receipts to back up everything I am saying.

      Regards,
