I sent him a Marantz 2252B in July 2023 and he never returned it. He kept saying he was waiting on parts and then after I found the BBB page that listed 39 complaints I demanded the receiver back. He said he was almost done. Then he sent a tacking number in December but never sent it.Initial Complaint

I Entered into a contract with ************************* of Crossed Paths Vintage to totally renovate my SX-**** Pioneer receiver on 04/15/2022 for the up-front amount of $600.00 plus $75.00 return shipping. After numerous inquiries and several excuses later, I did a little research and discovered NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS against CROSS PATHS VINTAGE and *************************. Now knowing I had very little hope of him sending back my receiver I proposed another business transaction (knowing his greed) to work on another receiver that I had. So, on 04/20/2023 I texted him I was planning on making a road trip (**** miles) in May to pick up my receiver and drop off my other one for repair. On May 21 arrived in ********, ** and texted him that night to make arrangements for pickup. He would only meet me someplace other than his home or so-called place of business (his business address is only a fictitious storefront). I told him I don't do business that way. On the following morning May 22,2023, I went to the ********************************** to ask for assistance. Not only did the Officer assist me but he gave ************************* an ultimatum, to bring my receiver to the ********************* parking lot or face charges for theft and fraud. I rec'd my receiver that morning. He showed me the inside the receiver and it did look clean. I asked him about the $75.00 for return shipping and all he said was "So *** me". When I got it home it was evident that he did not do the complete restoration. The phono will only play in mono, stereo only has one channel, and switches still stick. I waited this long to make a statement because I wanted to decompress so I could be as objective as I could. ************************* has a long history of accepting money for restorations and then keeping the vintage electronic gear. Is it very coincidently that he sells vintage electronic gear on his ******** page? I am requesting full refund of $675.00. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIS SERVICE TO ANYONE!Initial Complaint

On 06/20/2022 I entered into a contract with Crossed Path vintage for the repair of my Marantz **** stereo receiver for $460.00. They received the unit in good condition (per their text message on 06/29/2022). On 07/08 and 8/12 **** I inquired about status of said receiver and was assured that everything was proceding fine. on 10/04/22 I again inquired about status and was told they were still working on it. On 11/30/2022 I told them to send it back repaired or not. Two weeks later they replied that they were going to ship it at the end of the month. After repeated text messages on 03/20/2023 they stated that it would be shipped at the end of the week. On 94/10 23 they sent me a text that it would be sent out at the end of the month. that was the last I heard from them and they are not returning my calls or texts.Initial Complaint

I have a different address than the one listed here. *******************, ***************************************************. Shipped my stereo receiver to be restored on October 30, 2022 and paid $550 in advance. The restoration work was suppose to be completed in 30 to 45 days. The owner "*************************" does not respond to most e-mails or text messages and when you call he never answers the phone or allows a way to leave a message. I did receive a response to a text on February 21, 2023 saying that he would have my equipment ready in the next 30 days. I have not received my equipment as of April 19, 2023 and have had no response from Crossed Paths Vintage since february 21, 2023 , even though I have texted and emailed ************************* numerous times. Crossed Paths Vintage uses **** to gain customers, but is very tricky in that he has you pay him directly outside of ****, so that you do not get any of ****'s buyer protections.Initial Complaint

I purchased service from Crossed Paths Vintage **** listing on 8/26/21. I sent payment of $400.00 for service and $110.00 for Shipping to and back. I sent my Marantz ****b receiver to them which they received. I've sent numerous emails to them and when they do respond it's excuse after excuse. I have no idea if any of the work they promised was done. I have asked for my receiver to be returned to me and as of 4/18/23 I have not received it. I sent a Demand for Property to be returned letter on 4/17/23. In their **** listing they promised a 30 day turn around and I've been waiting 20 months. If it is at all possible your help in this matter would be appreciated.Initial Complaint
