    First, let me say I don't think i've ever written a negative business review. Mr. ********************** provided a quote of $300-$500 for a drywall service. This was our second time using this company. The repair person arrived to our home and was unprepared (he said the other person he normally comes with is often equipped with supplies), leaving the premises several times to grab supplies and take phone calls. He seemed really nice and ended up stopping his work for long periods of time to talk about his childhood, love for animals, his ranch, etc. (we have a lot of ranch/farmhouse decor at our home). At one point I thought - gosh, he sure is dragging out this service and spending a lot of time talking, but surely he knows he has to stick within the parameters of the quote we were given. At the end of our service, he tells us the services comes to $800-$900, which my husband and I were both baffled by. We told him he had to get the price down and my husband jokingly noted how he spent a lot of time just talking about his childhood, etc., so he took about $50 off. We went ahead and paid, thinking we'll just handle the issue with the front office, who gave us the quote. When we initially called, we were told we would be issued a refund that would get our service down to $600 (still above the original quote, but ok). We agreed and were explicit in that we did not want a credit and were assured it would be a refund and not a future service credit. Weeks went by, no refund. I called again to follow up with ******* at the front desk. When I finally tracked her down, she noted that the refund may take a while, but that management was still honoring it. She claimed she tried to contact both my husband and I, but neither of us had any missed calls from Mr. **********************. More time went by, nothing. ******* finally EMAILED me back to tell me they don't do refunds. Very disappointed by the bad business practices and then the runaround. I would suggest opting to use a different repair company.
