      on may 2023 i have contacted jacobys services and we closed a deal for installing a pool at my property on may 10th i paid them deposit of ****USD toward the job since than they were "started" working toward preparations to start the job and were dragging things on july 2023 they came up and said they need more tools and made me pay another 825USD for them since than they were coming every time with different excuses why they didnt started the job and at most of the times they were ignoring my calls and texts or was taking forever to answer. its been over 6 month and they didnt even started the job.

      Our company was hired by ************** in May 2023 to install a pool that he had ordered.  At that time we summited application for permit to be able to install pool thur the **************, **.   Also 811 was called to mark any electrical, gas, cable, water lines before project could start since we were going to have to dig.  The pool was going to be there in 2 weeks and it took almost 6 weeks for it to arrive at the property.   While waiting for the pool the permit was summited and was returned letting me know that they could not approve it due to a permit being open since Jan. 2021.  Due to that they could not give me the permit.  Called ************** and there was nothing I could do until he resolved he called the city and explained he brought the house so they could close out the permit to reopen new one for then installation.  By this time it was end of July 2023 and still no permit to start and I was not going to start without it.  In Aug. we finial got the old permit closed out and then the city asked for a master election to be on permit to move forward.  That was finial done at the end of Aug. 2023.  Now we had to wait for permit to be approved and it was until they said he had to send another plan if he wanted to put the pool pump and filter in garage so i had to call customer and explain he said to redo plan with the pump and filter being on the outside  so I had redo everything and resubmit the plan.  I did not get the approval until Oct. 2023.  While all this was going on our company started 2 news jobs so I explained to customer that we had to finish what we had first and then we could start on his.  Then we had 3 weeks in Oct. that it rain and explain that while ground is wet and muddy we can not work.  He kept calling and I answered him and told him that it was still to wait and it was like that with the other projects.    So not once did i not answer his phone call or text.  I have invested hours on this project myself.  Hours on phone waiting for managers at the ************** to get answers to get his project going also changing the plan and sending it in.  I also have already paid for the permit as well.  Without knowing that he had send in this complaint I just text him yesterday and asked if he still wanted the project done or refund.  I did I have done everything I could up until Sept. to get this project going.  So I will be willing to give him a refund back but not for full amount I need to get paid for our time spend on this project.   If customer wants to call me or text me and discuss the refund amount I will be more then glad to, so that I can break it down if he agrees a refund will be issued.

      On 3/16/2022 I paid Jacobys Services $3928.23 as half of an agreed upon invoiced amount to completely redo my backyard including removing a pond and hauling rock away, building stone stairs, correcting a retaining wall, and laying sod. They only worked two days of over a week being hired so I asked for my money back for work not completed. I have yet to receive any sort of refund and they stopped replying to me.
