Oh boy where do we start. We bought a home from them last year in roughly August. And from that day, it was a down hill spiral. They came in and did an immense amount of dirt work that didnt need to be done, poured unlevel concrete on an unlevel pad, didnt use a licensed plumber to lay our water line, didnt use the right size pipe nor the right fittings. They didnt give us options and were making us wait like 90 days just to get a DRAWING for our septic so we ended up having to use our own septic guy and pay EVEN MORE out of pocket, I myself am a licensed plumber and had to add my own water spigot as well as plumb in all of the sewer BY MYSELF under my brand new home. But wait, theres more. ****** in the office has been one of the most difficult people to deal with post signing on closing day. She sometimes doesnt respond, and when she does, its a few weeks or month later. ***** the owner isnt any better either. But now we fast forward to being in our home for literally less than a week and we came home to our kitchen flooded because the roof had a leak. What did they do? FLEX SEAL! Get out of here thats the most temporary fix. Now were having all kinds of cracking in our drywall, floor bubbles, trim popping off everywhere, multiples of roof estimates that prove our roof is AWFUL, bubbles in our cabinet trim around where the flood was. This has just been so much in 6 months. This is a brand new top line ******* Home. And yet neither ******* Homes nor Bentli Homes wants to step up and make it right. So here we are letting THE PEOPLE know what its really like to spend $170,000+ on a mobile home and receive god awful customer service. Not backing their products nor their customers like they should. We are forever regretting our decision to use either parties to fulfill our farm dream.Business response

Buenos dias mi nombre es ***** ********** , en febrero 26 del 2021 firme contrato para la compra de mi casa una traila doble en ese momento me dijeron que tardaria 6-7 meses en entregarmela y si fue asà correctamente el dia 31 de agosto me llamo carlos ****** gerente general para decirme que seria entregada al dÃa siguiente y asi fue pero solo la mitad , la otra mitad fue el siguiente dia en ese mismo dia recibi llamada de carlos me dijo que el precio subio y seria. 20,000 dls mas y si yo no acepto pagar ellos no me la instalan ni entregan en su totalidad la traila , elllos quieren romper el contrato que ya tenemos y aser uno nuevo por la nueva cantidad no me dan respuestas ni solución a esto , me dicen que la fabrica da ese precio al final incluso me mensionan quitar el ac para reducir la cantidad y dejarme vivir 3-4 meses "gratis " el dia que se hiso el cierre nosotros dimos el down cabe aclarar que la traila no esta nombre mio si no de ***** ****** ******* muchas gracias Good morning my name is ***** **********, on February 26, 2021 I signed a contract for the purchase of my house a double trailer at that time they told me that it would take 6-7 months to deliver it to me and if it was correct on August 31 my name is Carlos ****** general manager to tell me that it would be delivered the next day and so it was but only half, the other half was the next day on that same day I received a call from Carlos he told me that the price went up and it would be. 20,000 more dollars and if I do not agree to pay they do not install it or deliver the trailer in its entirety, they want to break the contract we already have and make a new one for the new amount they do not give me answers or solution to this, they tell me that The factory gives that price at the end they even mention to me to remove the ac to reduce the amount and let me live 3-4 months "free" the day the closing was made, we gave the down, it should be clarified that the trailer is not my name but of ***** ***** ****** thank you very muchBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/23) */ At the time of the agreement, the manufacturer of this specific home was 6-7 months out for construction. Unfortunately, all manufactures, etc.. have experienced a constant price increase with a material shortage. Of course all of these delays, pricing increase, etc.. are due to the pandemic "COVID 19". As the retailer we did not raise any of the land improvements or home price, although the cost for us went up. ( we absorbed it ) We actually had the dirt delivered, built their dirt pad and delivered their home. (which was a cost for us) Around the time of dirt work/delivery - the manufacturer updated the invoice with the correct 6-7 months worth of cost surcharges that has affected everyone from consumers, dealers, manufactures, lenders, etc.. Immediately after receiving this information we notified the customer. They refused to except the accurate pricing. During this time their approval with the lender expired, so we had no choice other than to bring the home to our headquarters. We have notified the customers - that their down payment will be refunded 100%, as a attempt of gratitude for the opportunity and we hold no ill will due to these the unforeseen circumstance. Unfortunately, everyone loses in a time like this, but as a retailer we are the one that has to deliver the reality to the consumer. We hope nothing, but the best for the ****** family.
