I am not sure what happened with my first complaint, but I am writing again concerning this business.On September 19, 2021, my truck was towed to Gomez Truck Parts for repairs. Before delivering truck to them had already spoken with a mechanic who told my driver what the issue was. When the truck was brought in the concerns were loss of water with no visible leaks and water on the dipstick. The driver indicated to the owner and the mechanic that the issue was a blown head gasket /internal engine problem. But the mechanic at the shop zoned in on the oil cooler as the problem. I spoke to several International dealership repair shop and they said from every indication the problem would be the head gasket or other internal engine parts.Over a week later and $5142.63 in charges, they want to tell me the engine needs to be replaced. Of course they want to charge me for the work they did, that was a total waste of time and storage fees for being on their property. I have tried on numerous occasions to resolve the cost for this bill, but no resolution from the owner.As of November 9, 2021, received an email that we now owe them over $7142.63. This price includes cost of repairs and storage charges. Storage charges that are continuing to mount up because the truck won't even start.I hired this shop to fix my truck. To this date, I have something that is not even drivable to remove from their property.
