Please excuse the lateness of this request. I have been ill. Last November New Braunfels Glass replaced my heavy, cotton, embossed shower curtain with sliding glass shower doors. The doors are fine. The towel bar adjacent to the shower was securely on the wall. Later we learned it had been carelessly installed by previous owners, but when the guys started working it WAS securely fastened to the wall. However, the guys hung the heavy cloth shower curtain on the towel bar while they worked. They admitted to also placing a two pound tool on the towel bar as they worked. The towel bar came loose from the wall on the right side. Yes, the previous owners had improperly installed the bar, but until the guys put heavy stuff on the bar it had been adequately fastened to the wall. The manager/owner and I talked several times. He repeatedly asked the men if they had placed the shower curtain on the towel rod. They kept saying they had not. They were lying. He sent a guy out to repair the damage, but the guy did not have the necessary supplies to repair it. I asked the manager/owner for $95. for my handyman to rehang the rod. He refused to reimburse me for the cost of repairing his mens negligence. He said he would not take responsibility for it. He said he was not responsible . I feel , as the owner, he IS responsible for what his men did. I feel he should reimburse me for the $95. I paid my handyman to repair the damage his men did. 01/2022, Seamless Shower installed for $2067. The shower is leaking at the bottom of the door and soaking my floor which is dangerous for a fall and increase for mildew. The service guy has made multiple attempts and has no clue how to repair the door and stop the leak. We have a bad install. The service guy has even had to seal a part of the glass that the installers did not put together. I have had the service guy out multiple times with no resolution. I have had another glass company look today and the door was not installed close enough to the inside of the shower and it was installed to high or measured to be to short. The installers did not even put a swept behind the door, and the service guy had to do that. The company is not doing anything to resolve the problem. Service *************** said he would talk with 2 new guys and see if they had any ideas, and it has been more than 2 months and I haven't heard anything. I want them to remove their product from my home and refund my $2067. I don't trust them to do any more work in my home.
