6-3-2024 They claim to have done a lot of unauthorized work totally over $4,000 and put a mechanic lien on the vehicle 2018 ***** accord sport. The forms were mailed to my mothers house with the lien notices and form with someone elses signature other than mine. I cant get a direct answer from the mechanic or the owner. I agreed to having the spark plugs changed and fuel injectors with being told if the fuel injectors didnt fix the problem they would take them out and return and not charge me.Initial Complaint

On 9/30/2023 I took my vehicle in for A/C service. Under the impression that I needed Freon. I made several calls prior to service speaking with ****, detailing make and model to get info and a quote so that I would have an estimate of expenses. Walking in - **** and another employee at the counter mentioned how slow it was hoping business would pick updropping my car off around 10:30am with understanding by **** and the other guy that my goal was to get my air fixed. 20 minutes later I get a call saying that my car a 2018 Chevrolet Impala used a more expensive type of Freon and the service fee would be more expensive. I was initially quoted a service fee of $79.99 and Freon at $25 per pound totaling about $150 after all was said and done. Now the service fee will be $125 and the Freon is $99 per pound and I also needed both air filters now coming to about $355 . Frustrated, yet desperately needing the issue resolved I agreed to pay the increase with the reassurance that this would fix the problem. 2 hours later **** called to say that my car was ready and I was All set. Everyone was all smiles good to go I paid my fee, received my keys only to get to my car sit in it for 10 minutes air in high and no cold air!!!! I went back in and advised **** it was still doing the same as before. The owner chimes in immediately saying its not working because the clutch on the compressor isnt working. No one informed me the problem was not resolved, yet took payment with no problem. Had I been advised I wouldve been able to decide how I wanted to proceed, but they took my money knowing Id have to double back for another service. Thats not ethical and is wrong. I asked when did you know my issue was not fixed, he repliedI didnt have to check, it was a courtesy and yet you still said nothing! Over 10 yrs coming here - I will never go back. I was handled completely out of line. I have no way of knowing if the service I paid for was actually even done!
