As a new homeowner, I scheduled an evaluation and quote for rain gutters on my house (1/16/24). After 5 hours of detailed explanations of how the gutters would save my foundation from flooding and mold in my basement, I was pressured to sign an agreement for $24,000, with the caveat that "you have 72 hours to cancel". The only contact info I received is a cell phone number to who I am told is the *** *************************. The next day I called that number to cancel, and he would not accept it. I have no paperwork. I called again and he removed part of the work to lower the price to approx. $18,523. I said I would think about it, and called back to cancel the whole project. I was told "the workers are already on their way." They installed half of the system. There were mistakes made and pieces missing. Still no paperwork or receipt. I do not have a business address to contact in writing. A week later I received a notice from *************** stating that an account was opened in my name at *****% interest rate; I called immediately to stop any payment but was told that the full amount was already charged to the account on 1/25/2024, accruing interest. The work is not finished, the gutters that are installed do not keep water out of the basement as stated, and and the **** is not answering his phone or returning my calls. All of this is going on during my 60-hour work-week. It now appears that this business HQ is in **********, or *****, not "Western **". This is a terrible way to do business.Initial Complaint

Based on their advertisement on TV (will be awarded $ 50 VISA Gift card for free estimate), I called for free estimate on May 15, 2021. Derek came and made presentation and gave us the quote, He also gave me the form to claim $ 100 gift card for dinner, which was mailed to: Leafguard Holdings, Inc. at ********************************* and I did not hear from them, I called them no of times and finally Mr. Chris J****** send me another form to claim $ 50 Restaurant.com gift card to be mailed again at the same address. I called Mr. Chris J****** at **************** no of times and left messages and has not replied. It seems the company is doing deceptive advertising.
