I am constantly receiving phone calls and voicemails from this company stating that I have a visitor. This company is not associated with my current home security company. I have blcked the phone number, yet they continue to call and leave the same cryptic mesaage "You have a visitor". I finally called the number to find why, who, and how they are calling me. The reprsentative stated that my phone number is not listed/associated with any accounts in their database. The rep went on to say that they would put on the do not call list.Business response

We are an access control company with an intercom system that visitors can use to contact a resident/owner. I sent an email to ********************* explaining what our system is and asked if her current residence or a previous one had our type of service. I let her know that we don't have any record of her number in our system and if she received any additional calls to please let me know. I provided my email and cell number. She responded that she has never had our type of service and that she would contact me if she received any additional calls.
We have not received any notifications from her that she has received any additional calls. If she does, we can run traces and determine the number we were calling. The only explanation we could come up with was that someone that does have our service had their calls forwarded to her number, maybe mistakenly. We have tens of thousands of customers so while this explanations is extremely unlikely, it is possible.
Since we have not heard from her that she has received any additional calls, we consider this issue closed. We are happy to help her should this happen again.
