October of 2022 this company repaired the plumbing under my house after being broken when the foundation was repaired. They had to excavate under the house to get to the pipes. They had an engineer sign off that that had put the proper amount of dirt back under my house. A couple months later I was replacing a toilet in my house and when you took the toilet off you could see under the slab of the house and there was a large void where no dirt was put back. I tried to reach out to water **** but they would not call me back. I then when to the engineer they used to sign off that the proper amount of dirt was up under the house and he agreed that those voids should not be there and he was unaware but they do need to be filled in. I then reached out to the foundation company and he informed me that could affect the performance of his piers because it was not backfilled properly. So then I started calling watermark to come out and do it right. They use an answering company to answer the phone so all those people can do is pass my number and message off to the company, I never talked to an actual employee of the company. I have called over 50 times and have never gotten a call back. All I want it for them to fix it properly.Initial Complaint

9/3/2021 paid $2030.59 which included a $450.49 task SL055 Concrete Patch 3-Ft X 3-ft Each - Next Day (to be completed the next day) The company never showed up for the appointment. I scheduled at least 2 more appointments and they never showed. I called them many times over the course of 2 months and they keep promising, but no action. I have a big hole in my foundation and just want it fixed. Now I am requesting a refund of the $450.49 because I have lost all confidence and trust in their actions.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/26) */ Hello, I would like to start by apologizing for how long it has taken to get out there. I had covid for several weeks and was out of the office. Our Accountant was supposed to call you yesterday and let you know that we were actually refunding $958 so I'm wondering why you filed a complaint. Did she not call you? Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have not received the refund amount. I have been told they would send me the refund by mail, and it has not arrived. I can just drive the 3 miles to pick up the refund, or they could deliver it in person, but waiting two months now is unacceptable. I need the money to fix my foundation which they left a big hole in. Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2021/11/17) */ I am sorry that you have not received the check yet. I did instruct the accountant to cut a check for $958. I will make sure that is done this week. I will however be disputing the refund you are seeking from the credit card processor since it is for the full amount. You will need to withdraw your dispute from the credit card company first as I can not send a check out and then you try and get the whole amount reimbursed as well. Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2021/12/06) */ ***Document Attached*** The business never sent a check. I waited for 3 months for them to finish the job I paid for, or provide a refund. The business consitently said they would do things, and never followed through. I will attach the evidence the work was not done. They have scammed me/committed fraud, and I created this claim for some help in getting my money back. They also lied about the hold the bank put on their account as shown in the image.
