I worked harmoniously with RPB until I started seeing changes in integrity from my asking detailed questions about the scope of work. This started when I ask **** the owner for his detailed estimate multiple times.He refused,He scheduled a start date for the work of my home on 3/20 via email he never showed.I waited for him all day that Monday thinking he would show as we still had not gone over pricing,as he was also including solar into the build but hadn't gotten the numbers,which he assured me he would have prior to the start of the build even going as far to say he would waive my deductible because of a referral.This conversation never happened I woke up to work being started on my home on 3/21. I immediately message **** about my concerns of us not coming to an agreement on final cost, he avoided my question and became upset. After this the lies began,I told him I would not allow him to continue the work until we understood in detail scope and cost. He informed us he did not have intentions of doing the work that the insurance called for and what we where paying for. For example he was not going to paint the fully or remove water damaged sheet rock and insulation.He was going to just spot paint over it. We had multiple walk thrus and reviews of the estimate after which he promised he would do the work accordingly if we allowed him to continue.this was not the case he intentionally lied and did not do the work with in scope of the insurance estimate or our walk thrus,the work that was done was subpar we allowed him 2 times in our home to correct which he did not after this we denied him further access to our home.He became threatening and has verbally assaulted ** at every turn.He has intentionally filed false police report saying we will not pay him for the roof as he knows the work in the interior is not up to standard.I have offered him 18k for the cost of the roof and he is refusing to accept and is increasing the price every time we have a new conversation
