I had an ongoing subscription through The Nomadik and sent a cancellation request on 3/1/2024 and received a cancellation confirmation email on 3/9/2024. On 6/1/2024 I was charged $170.90 for a subscription that was confirmed cancelled on 3/9/2024. The Nomadik customer service is now conveniently saying the cancelled subscription is active and they have now cancelled it. They are refusing to give me my money back for a subscription that was confirmed cancelled on 3/9/2024. This is a fraudulent charge as this subscription was confirmed cancelled on 3/9/2024 I would like the unauthorized money that was taken out of my account to be returned as soon as possible.Business response

We have received the BBB complaint and have reviewed your case.
The screenshot that you have provided (IMG_7847) is a non-response - closure ticket to the previous ticket inquiry that you had with us. ***** initially wanted to cancel the subscription last March 1, 2024, but have received a counter/retention offer on March 2, inorder to keep the subscription active. We were not able to receive any response, so on the 7th day, youve received a survey email asking how the ticket with the subject Cancel Subscription went. It is not the cancellation email notification we send if the subscription is successfully canceled, and because there was no reply. The subscription was still active.
I have attached a copy of the email correspondence dated March 1 March 2.
Your subscription was canceled June 3, 2024 after it renewed on June 1, 2024 and you had emailed us then. Rheas initial response was correct and as mentioned previously, you are supposed to get the shipments associated with the latest renewal.
On this note, we understand that the email notification youve received about the survey mustve been confusing. We would like to make your experience with The Nomadik better. We have canceled the latest shipment and have refunded the latest order. Your subscription will no longer renew, but we hope that when things are better for you, that you will give us a chance again.
Kindly allow 5-7 days for the refund to reflect back in your card and you will receive a notification for this as well.

I ordered 3 of their outdoors boxes as a Christmas gift for my brother. The items never arrived. I reordered so that he would have a gift and contacted Nomadik and **** At first they responded saying they would look into it, but then stopped responding all together and never refunded the money for the boxes that never arrived. It says it was delivered to other and just showed a picture of the label. *** said they responded to my claim to the company and yet the company never contacted me for a refund or to resolve the issue.Business response

Good day and we hope you are well. We apologize for the delay in response.
We rechecked this ticket and reviewed what happened.
First, regarding the delivery issue - the *** claim prevented us from sending you a replacement until the Claim status was resolved. Then when we were about to refund the items, you filed a Chargeback, which prevented the system from refunding you until that was resolved. Upon review, the chargeback was finally resolved and the funds were returned to us. In line with that, we have refunded you the amount paid for Order # N-565558.
Kindly allow 3-5 days for the refund to reflect in your account. You will also receive an email notification regarding the refund.

I placed an order with this company in December 2023 for a quarterly subscription box. This was intended as a gift and I planned to cancel, not realizing that I would be billed again on January 1 for another box. I tried to cancel this box and the company refused, stating that I agreed to be billed. I accepted this and had to have them to ship the box (even though I tried to cancel 3 weeks in advance of the shipment) and pay shipping charges. I was told I could return the box for a full refund. The day I received the box I returned it to via **** and provided them with the tracking number as requested. I was told I could receive a refund minus shipping charges 2-3 days after receipt. The box arrived on 1/27. After no communication, I contacted the company via email on 2/7 to inquire about my refund and received no response. I reached out again on 2/12 for an update and again have received no response. The company provides no other way to contact them. I would just like my money back. I'm happy to forward correspondence. I placed an order (Order N-******) for a one time box on 12/17/23. There was an update in 12/18/23 that a pre-shipment label was created in **********,** and I have not received any update in tracking since.I emailed the *************************** email on 12/26/23 requesting an update why the package had not been sent from the warehouse yet. A person named **** responded that day by email stating its frustrating to have a delay, but they would send updates.I emailed on 12/28/23, thanking for the response and curious if the delay was because of the holidays, but did not receive a response. I also tried to message on Instagram, but did not receive a response. I emailed again on 1/4/24, resending the **** tracking information with a screenshot of the unchanged movement from pre-shipment status requesting an update. I wrote Hi ****,This order still is in pre-shipment. I had paid $9 for 1-3 day shipment and ordered it on 12/17. It has been 18 days without any update. Can you please tell me why **** has not received the package yet?Thank you,**** **** Tracking number: ************************** I sent another email on 1/11/24:Hi,I still have not received the package. Hi,
2 months later, I recieved the package. They almost sent me the wrong one and it took several emails to receive the right box finally. They did not compensate me in anyway, nor did they actually take accountability for their customer service and not meeting the standard.
Ultimately it was resolved, but I would never buy from this company again and would recommend my friends and family to not consider using this company ever.
Thank you for trying to get in touch with them to resolve the issue. It is possible this complaint helped resolve the issue in the end.

On December 15th 2023, I ordered two quarterly subscription boxes, and their website guaranteed delivery before Christmas. It is currently January 3rd, and not only have the two boxes I ordered not arrived, but they charged me for two more quarterly subscription boxes on January 1st. I emailed them within a matter of hours to ask them to cancel them and refund the money, but they advised that they could not refund my money, even though I was not due to receive another subscription box until March 1st, which they admitted to in the email they sent me. They also charged me over $100 for shipping, which is supposed to be free with a purchase of over $50, per their website. Finally, they advised that I could cancel my membership on their website, but I've tried several times and their website says I need to email them to cancel. My latest email to them has not been answered in over 24 hours.Initial Complaint

On 10-10-22, I purchased a subscription service of outdoor enthusiast goods and services for $330 - a box mailed once per month to my spouse as a birthday gift. On 10-5-23, almost one year later, I received notice that my annual subscription had been renewed for another year at a rate of $489. Not only did I not authorize this, but it was also an increase of $150.This happened just before a weekend away and I did not respond until five days later.On 10-10-23, I asked to have the subscription canceled. I was told no, that once it had renewed, I was on the hook for the whole year. Even though they had not even shipped another product to me yet.On 10-24-23, I received notice that another box was being shipped to me.On 10-26-23, I asked again to have the subscription canceled and said if it was not canceled by 10-31-23, I would be filing complaints with the state consumer affairs divisions and any other relevant authorities.On 10-31-23, they wrote back saying they would refund half of my subscription, but that was all, citing their policy of renewal including the full year.On 11-1-23, I wrote back reminding them that their policy also includes a clause stating I have 7 days to dispute the charge. I disputed it in 5. They did not respond.On 11-21-23 I received notice that another box was being shipped to me.On 11-28-23, I emailed again that I did not want the subscription.As of 12-13-23, I have received no refund and the boxes keep coming. They list no phone number on their website and emails come from "****" - no last name provided. I have found numerous complaints about this company online, some that have almost the same exact fact pattern as mine. I find their practices deceptive at best, predatory at worst, and they don't even honor their own policy for disputing charges. I'd like a full refund and for the company to be held responsible for their poor business practices if not following the law.Initial Complaint

I purchased a yearly subscription. When I wanted to cancel mid way through the year, I was told that they could not refund the remaining balance. I was fine with that, and continued to receive boxes for the rest of the year. Then I was charged for an additional year. I disputed the charge on my credit card and they are trying to resolve the issue. When I go to the website (nomadik) and try to cancel, the website tells me I do not have an account. This seems to me that it has already been canceled and they do not have an open account under my name. Therefore they should not be charging me for anything if I do not have an account. After doing a 6 month subscription, I asked multiple times for them to cancel my account, and give a refund for boxes that I did not order. They changed their website and account stuff, told me to create a new login and then I could cancel. It didn't work and they charged me again without responding to my request to have them fix the issue. The most recent time they charged me, the only reason they canceled my account is because I threatened to write this review. I would like even just a PARTIAL refund for the boxes I got with repeat crap since they don't ever have anything new.Initial Complaint

i paid a 6 month subscription for a monthly shipment of goods. Before anything was shipped i contacted nomadik and asked for a complete refund an no longer interested in their service. i paid 150 dollars for the 6 month service and i was emailed back and they told me that the company will never issues refunds. I have an issue with the company Nomadik. I have found many poor reviews related to my situation. The company doesn't have a phone number, you can only email them. I have tried to reach out to them for the past two weeks with no response about a refund. I was told I had a one time purchase but it charged my account again. I can't log onto my account, their website won't let me, so I can't access any of my payment information.
