      I met Beldon Leafguard at the Historic Fair in 2016. They came out and I agreed to their product and service, including a deposit of about $1500. Shortly thereafter, it was discovered that my roof wasn't suitable for gutter to he hung due to damage. They couldn't refund my money and I wasn't able to get the work done right away. I attempted to contact them a few years later. They informed me that they had my information and that someone would contact me. I never heard back. This year I went to the Historic Fair and spoke with their reps there. They found my job and that money was given. I've been calling pretty regularly and told every time that someone will call me back within 24 hours...still no return call. I called today and was told I'd get a call back in 5 minutes. After 10, I called again and was told that the manager referred my situation to their legal department...and no phone call on their part to me. It appears that they are not interested in completing the job nor returning my money. I'd accept them completing the job, but at this point, I'd prefer a refund as I do not care for the way they treat a customer who has given them a fairly substantial amount of money.

      We would be happy to help ****************** (*******) with either a refund or the installation of new gutters.  Unfortunately, we have been trying to contact her since the end of February on a daily basis.  We have called, emailed and sent letters but have not received any response from the customer.  The customer can contact the ** of our ************************** *****************************, directly on her office number **************.  We look forward to speaking with the customer and amicably resolving any issues she might have.

      This complaint is regarding a siding installation that commenced Jan 2023. I was informed the project would be completed no later than April 2023. Unfortunately, I am still having issues with the company this Aug 2023. Silding was installed for the entire home $24k. I encountered many problems during this period with the last being damage to my garage door. While I did try to rectify the problem with the *** the $100 **** card is not acceptable as the damage was far more extensive and was caused by their workers. I also contacted the President via email, but he did not wish to be involved and transferred me back to the *** During this project, the employees failed to caulk joints and gaps properly; quality of work was poor; failure to clean debris around the house; uneven cuts; employee brought his child to the work site; employee smoking on site; company illegally removed a seal on the electricial meter to access the meter box instead of calling the utlility company for a shut down; numerous communications with the Project ***************** Coordinator, etc. Overall, I will never refer this company to my famly, friends or anyone. After speaking with the garage door company, it cannot be repaired, however, it can be replaced. At this point, all I am asking is for my garage door panel to be replaced to make me whole.       In response to ******************* feedback shared with the Better Business Bureau about the perceived quality of BELDON San Antonios work and alleged property damage:

      Our leadership TEAM, including myself Vice ********** ************************ has directly engaged with *************** multiple times to address her concerns. BELDON San Antonio is quite surprised that *************** has submitted this request.  Following a comprehensive final inspection at ******************* property, with *********************, our HID Production Manager, all identified issues were addressed and rectified to her satisfaction. This was further validated when *************** made the remaining payment, in full, for the project, signaling her acceptance and satisfaction with the completed work.

      It appears that *************** is only using this complaint process to obtain a discount on the product that she already paid for. Consistent with this behavior, well after the final inspection and after she had paid in full, *************** raised concerns about damage to her garage door, suggesting a $2,000 deduction. We diligently examined photos taken before and during our work and identified that the mentioned damage exterior was pre-existing. Further, BELDON San Antonio could certainly not be held accountable for interior damage as we only worked on the exterior of the home. We promptly informed *************** of these findings and provided her photos of such damage. It's important to note that BELDON San Antonio remains dedicated to honoring our contractual commitments, and based on our assessment, we cannot offer the requested discount as it was not caused by our negligence.

      Additionally, when *************** expressed a desire to meet with our ********** he promptly responded by offering a meeting with the project's overseeing TEAM and manager. Unfortunately, as of today, he has not received a response to that proposal yet.

      We remain committed to addressing any further inquiries or concerns that *************** may have about her project and suggest she file for mediation, per her contract, if she still feels that we should compensate her for something we are not responsible for under the terms of our contract. We trust a reasonable third-party can review the documentation and provide her with the affirmation that BELDON San Antonio did nothing wrong and is not responsible for a $2,000 garage door.

      I am rejecting this response because the garage door damage was caused by Beldon employees during their 3rd-4th attempt to install the correct materials (frame) around the garage exterior.  This was pointed out immediately to ***** who stated he would have the employee pay for the damage; therefore, this is not something I am just making up to obtain monies.  All I ask is to be compensated via replacing the garage panel or some type of monetary compensation; however, $100 **** card is definitely not acceptable.  Furthermore, I received a phone call from the ** stating I needed to approve the remaining loan because the work had been substainially completed...I did so to avoid any legal proceedings, etc.

      On January of 2019 ******************************* a Beldon Roofing and Gutters representative brought me a contract for gutters being installed on my house to sign, (attached). He told me that the company would guarantee their gutters for life and that if there ever was any problem, they would come back and fix it at no charge to me. After a few months, we finally got a chance to see how the gutters worked and to our surprise, there were a few places where the water was overshooting the gutters. I called and they came and adjusted them. I paid no attention to it since this is a reputable company, I thought. When we had another rain storm, I notice the water overshooting the gutters on the valleys of the roof. I called and was told that they had forgotten to put in diverters so they came back and did that. Later, I noticed that my ****** around the front of my house had a line cut on them where the water had been hitting when it rains. I looked at the gutters and there is a space between the gutter and the roof, at the valley where the water is leaking. Also a downspout had fallen from the gutter in the back when we had a windstorm. I called Beldon again and a ************************* sent a crew to fix the problems. (I think that this is a subcontracting company). The man working on it told me that the problem was that I don't have drip edges on my roof (which as I understood on the contracts first page) they were suppose to install. The man just put caulking on it and left. I called ************** and he told me that they used some roofing flashing and caulk to see if it would help. He said he understands if I want to complaint to the BBB. I want Beldon to live up to their word about guaranteeing their product. I paid over $4,200.00 for this and expect them to stand by their advertisements.

      I am rejecting this response because:  *********** did send workers to make adjustments but we have not had rain so there is no way for me to tell is the problem was fixed.  The Gentleman who came out asked me to call back if we have any problems but again, no rain.

      We have completed the work and ********************** acknowledges that; thus, not having rain is not a rejection of completing what the customer requested. We have been in business for 76 years and stand behind our work. If there is a contractural issue, we stand prepared to address it after the next rain. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather.

      Beldon installed gutters on my home. Installation was delayed twice because of materials and Covid. A $300 gift card was promised for installation and the delays. The original contract was signed about July 2020. I have never received the gift card. I have complained numerous times on their web site, been contacted, and promised to have this corrected. I have been told by representatives that the situation was referred to the general manager and that I would be contacted the same day. I was told this last week, September 14 or 15, but was never contacted by anyone. This had been happening for over a year. I would not recommend Beldon to anyone based on their integrity. They never follow through on what they tell you.
