I purchased 6 gift certificates from this company. I then decided to upgrade and paid an additional fee for a total of $350. I gave 3 as gifts. Only 1 recipient was been able to redeem her gift. The 2nd recipient tried to schedule with this individual ***************************, owner 4 separate times. The first time she claimed she could not find the appointment. The second and third time she cancelled. The fourth time she offered to come to his house and she was a no-show. I tried numerous times to get in touch with *************************** to get a refund. She told me to request through Venmo but it was denied. I tried to contact her again but she has not responded. I understand that she has stolen from at least 5 others. Probably more. Im writing to report this company, which has been closed, as well as *************************** who is the owner and the thief.

*************************** belonged to a 9 week ******************* on ******** as I also was a member. She offered packages of massages to everyone in the group. I, along with several others in the group, purchased massages from her. I specifically purchased 6 1 hour deep tissue massages and paid for those through CashApp. She did render 3 of those prepaid massages however, after the 3rd massage she informed me she was closing her studio which was located on *****************. But assured me to worry that she would come to my home to render those services I purchased a massage table so she wouldn't have to bother bringing hers. I scheduled her to come to my home on 4 different occasions. I scheduled for my home massage right away but on 4 occasions she did not show up and made excuses as to why she couldn't but rescheduled. The last time we scheduled she did not respond or show up. She stopped responding all together so I sent a refund request for the unrendered services through CashApp. I received a message from CashApp that ******* declined to refund the funds on the unused/unrendered services.

      RE: *************************

The above complainant purchased a 6 pack of massage, which half of the package was complete. The business was at a point in down fall due to covid spikes in the area. People were not coming in to utilize the certificates. My husband was pulling loans to help with just rent and advertising along with scheduler. When I spoke to ***************** I was advised that massages should be done on certificate receivers time frames as requested because she could not do the massage in mornings . Feb 1, 2022 my business closed due to no more funds to keep the business open. People were aware and I was willing to work with them on days off or before I went into work I have gone to a attorney to file chapter 7 bankruptcy but we just started paper work since  I didnt have $2200.00 , I borrowed from a relative to start procedings. I have been slandered as a thief on social media, I have a copy of what was posted about me being a thief and if anyone else got scammed to join her in a police report.( by her best friend who started this reporting ******************************* aka: ***** management) I am in a very bad position since the business closed and I no longer work in that area or field due to not enough money coming in or clientele. I was told by my attorney to block close all incoming pay accounts like venmo, paypal, cash app which are all in arears due to refunds I tried to refund.I was also advised to block them on social media until we could get everything under control so not everything stated is not completely true. I did stop contact as the attorney stated with all parties. So there is no contact or communication with anyone.

I work from 3pm-11pm then I had offered to work on people on those days in morning or days off, which suddenly no one wanted morning services it became evening problem and they refused to be attended to on my days off.

I am rejecting this response because:  I did work with ******* on scheduling but she cancelled 3 times and then she stopped responding after that.  I was very accommodating and understanding as to work with her schedule until she stopped responding.  It has been brought to my attention that she is not a Licensed Massage Therapist to perform services, but I must say she is very good at massage therapy and should pursue the proper channels to receive a license. I would also like to add that I only received half of the services I purchased, but at that it was indeed worth the price I paid. My problem lies with integrity and character.  I personally think she sold the services at a greatly discounted price and even at that, integrity should have provided 6 massages instead of only 3.  However, I do forgive the debt due and wish her the very best in her future endeavors. I simply ask that she exercise integrity in her future business practices.

      Regards,

The above complainant purchased a 6 pack of massage that are sold for individual usage not to be given out as gift certificates (even thought I did print them on gift certificate because thats all that could be found at stores.  They could be shared with family members but not as gifts. Since she was a training coach ( which I have a $200 GIFT CERTIFICATE SHE OWES ME & $80.00 training session).I utilized so I made the exception. She also sent clients that she told the same too, not wanting to look bad I made the same exception. The business was at a point in down fall due to covid spikes in the area. People were not coming in to utilize the certificates. My husband was pulling loans to help with just rent and advertising along with scheduler. I did have one person book and I did cancel because I became covid positive. So I did not take appointment for 2.5 weeks until I tested negative. The person who purchased the massage packets ******************************* knew this and so did many of the people she trained. I touched based with another person trying to schedule telling them what happened a *************************** who received a massage certificate (she is a best friend of the owner of this business ******************************* aka *******************************) advised me that massages should be done on certificate receivers time frames as requested and needed not when I felt I could do the work or days off from a new job. (****** had advised them all this when she gave certificates, ***** disclosed to me that ****** let her know and she would set me straight. Feb 1, 2022 my business closed due to no more funds to keep the business open. People were aware and I was willing to work with them on days off or before I went into work. ****** the owner, told me it was unacceptable and very unprofessional. I received a letter on email that if I would be charged with theft , fraud, report my license to the board to never work again, slander me on social media, and threatened to call my boss at my new job to get me fired. I have since attained a attorney to file chapter 7 bankruptcy.I have been slandered as a thief on social media by ******************************* aka *******************************, I have a copy of what was posted about me being a thief and if anyone else got scammed to join her in a police report. She has made it very stressful purposely made up lies to another therapist that I have used a number of another massage therapist, which my attorney will file cease and assist to have her stop falsifying information.. When I did Speak to the attorney I showed her the threats made and she told me it was civil case and the bad word of mouth was slander. I am in a very bad position since the business closed and I no longer work in that area or field to pay **** or monies. They knew the business was in destress not enough money coming in or clientele. I was told by my attorney to block ******, and all her friends she was rallying up make police report and be charged with theft due to her threats, and close all incoming pay accounts like venmo, paypal, which are all in arears due to refunds I tried to refund. so not everything stated is not completely true. I did stop contact as the attorney stated with all parties. So there is no contact or communication with anyone ****** and this lady ******************************* threatened my new job, and various other things in my life and I am currently nm ow reaping a lot of problems due to their lies and drama. I did not attempt anymore to make a settlement with management due to her rudeness and demanding nature. the office is the same. The attorney will get ahold of them one by one time. I was going to refund ******************************* when my first paycheck would come in until she became very hostile and demeaning and lined up many people to do the same. No one would work with me like theyd agreed after I close , it became a demand.

I work from 3pm-11pm then suddenly no one wanted morning services it became evening problem and they refused to be attended to on my days off

      Complaint: 16889840

I am rejecting this response because ALL is false:

      - *************************** agreed to purchase gift certificates and specifically told ****** they would be used as gifts which is why she needed physical gift certifcates on hand in the first place.  We have documentation of that communication and will be more than happy to provide that.

      - Attached, you will find a photo screen of her advertisement stating GIFT CERTIFICATE packages.

      - KMM, nor ***************************, owes ****** anything.

      - 5 other individuals had the SAME exact issue with ****** - ********************************* ($350), *************************** owed ($103.50), *************************** owed $300, ********************************* owed $300, ************************* owed $300

      - As you can tell by her response she had financial issues which is the underlining theme.  She claims to have gotten Covid 3 times and has blamed Covid for her business failure.  This is not the case.  She has had business failures for many years with a variety of "massage" companies she opens and we have documentation that shows why she really went out of business.  She has gone under alias names, she is NOT an RMT (we have documentation), she is fraudently using another RMT's license by the name of ******************************** who lives in **********, *****.  We have documentation that of fraud, forgery, and identity theft on ****** that stems for the past 10-years.  We have documentation on ****** from 2012 when the real RMT, *******, filed complaints on ******.  Complaints of sexual conduct during massages from hand jobs to blow jobs and have the documentation to prove it all.

      - ****** claims to have filed bankrupcy and paid $2200 which she could have easily paid everyone back instead.  In addition, I have documentation asking ****** numerous times for her atty's information so we can communicate directly with her atty.  She has yet to provide.  We don't believe she has one.  If she did, we would have already received notification from the atty cease to communicate and notification of KMM being apart of the bankruptcy.  Legally, she would not be able to since the check was written directly to her.  Not her "company".

      - I have documentation of all my communications with ****** where there has never been threats nor slander.  We only deal with facts and out of courtesy, gave her my protocol on what I do on my end when a refund is due to KMM.  If she would have given a refund, our office would have never found out the truth about ****** and her fake identity and license.

      - *************************** provided our office with what she posted on social media and there was zero slander, zero threats, etc.  We have that documentation as well.  She simply posted the picture of the gift certificate and asked if anyone bought one to please contact her.

      - ****** was given many opportunities to provide a refund to KMM for services not rendered.  We have the documentation of that too.  She gave us a date of March 11, 2022 for a refund and no refund was given.  Others had similiar scenerios with ******, so for her to state she was going to give a refund.  That is false.  Again, there is a theme in all this.  She falsely stated she was an RMT, she used identity of another RMT, she was in financial trouble again and sold gift certificate packages with a 1 YEAR EXPIRATION DATE (so her claim that no one was using them was also false), and the advertisement states THEY CAN BE SHARED....again....another lie.
