I visited the business on February 21, 2022 where I dropped off my 2 dogs at approximately 12:00pm. I have a Shih Tzu and Schnauzer that we normally take to our trusted dog groomer, however, our dog groomer fell ill. We found this place online, but worried as we knew nothing about what to expect. I admit, I told the lady at the front that I wanted their haircut to be a 1 or 0 when using the clippers. Most dog groomers that I've dealt with, including mine, will interpret a 1 or 0 setting to be the shortest cut possible. She didn't say much except that they would be ready in several hours. When I picked up my dogs, I was shocked to find out their hair appeared the same length as when I brought them in. I paid for the services because I did not want to get into a confrontation with the male employee who gave me my dogs. My wife called the business and spoke with a female and explained our situation. She told my wife that the clipper setting I gave her is not the shortest cut. She said the lowest setting would be a 7. I have never heard of this before. What is more upsetting is the lady was not willing to work with us. Instead, she told my wife that if we brought the dogs back in to redo their haircut, she would charge us again. This is absurd. Then she tried to tell my wife that she would contact the owner to relay our complaint. When my wife asked for the owner's phone number, she refused to give it to us. We never got a call from the owner. On Tuesday, February, 22, 2022, we called the business again, this time, she told us the owner was out of town. This is not the way to treat customers. We don't appreciate this lady giving us the runaround. She could have handled this herself. We made a huge mistake by coming here. Our regular dog groomer is so much better and will never hesitate to fix mistakes. We will never come here again. I want a refund in the amount $145.93

My reply to these customers. My front desk staff is completely equipped with many years experience in a grooming shop. When looking at the cameras and speaking with my staff member the husband showed the text messages from the wife stating a one or zero blade. Unfortunately a one and zero blade are human hair clippers not dog grooming clippers. Our owner of the shop has been grooming celebrity dogs for 16 years. Each staff member is tested and taught all grooming tools, clippers, ***** and scissors styles. Upon pick up the husband was very happy and even tipped graciously. Later that evening the wife called the staff member to complain about the haircut. When stating she wanted extremely short however that was never stated the only thing that was stated was which clipper to use. Unfortunately human hair clippers are much different than dog clippers. We explained to the owners of the dogs that the owners of the grooming shop would call them on Friday due to them being at another grooming shop in another state. The staff member who groomed these two dogs gave them a $10 discount on each dog these ****** would normally have costed $75 each and the dogs were charged $65. They were still unhappy and I have continued to complain.
      Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: I do not care about the number of years of experience they have grooming dogs and I do not care about their involvement with celebrity dogs. What does this mean for me? Absolutely nothing. The company's response to my complaint clearly shows how rude and unprofessional they are in handling such a simple complaint that they could have taken care of immediately. I have an idea. What if they addressed the problem by cutting my dogs' hair and not charging extra? After all, I already paid full price. Too easy right? I want a full refund. I will never return to this place again.

      Regards,
