      This business allows user to register online. There is no mechanism to cancel subscription through online. Only through phone and email , user can request for cancellation . I have registered two of my family members for 3 months , Jun, July, Aug 2022. Through email I got confirmation that my service would be cancelled by end of Aug, 2022. However, this organization didn't cancel my monthly subscription ($100) by end of Aug, 2022. It continued to next month September, 2022. I talked to few person in this organization to get back $100.1) Help line **************, Family Hospital Lake ****** , *********************************************************** 2) and ********************* , Director of Membership, ************** , www.cagefreecare.com Still I haven't got the $100 back. It seems this organization allows user to subscribe online. But it is extremely difficult to cancel the subscription. Since there is no online option to initiate cancellation. It is more like talking to several people over phone to cancel . I have sent several email to ********************* . But I haven't got answere.

      We are sorry for any misunderstanding regarding our contract. 

       

      The healthcare membership offered on the Cage Free Care platform is 12-month agreement directly with the healthcare provider. This allows the healthcare providers to offer affordable memberships to the community they serve. In order to protect the ability of the provider to offer these memberships, we do require a contract with an early termination fee of 50% of the remainder of the contract period. This is to prevent members from abusing the membership program by canceling and signing up only when services are needed.

      For this reason, we require members to submit early cancellations to **********************************.

      Based on our account review, this agreement was cancelled early and subject to an early cancellation fee of $450. Working with our ***************** we were able to reduce the fee down to $100 and eliminate the outstanding balance of $350.

      I am rejecting this response because:  

      I have attached a pdf file . It has email conversation with *********************, Director of Membership. 
      In his email , he  has mentioned that membership will  be cancelled by end of August. 
      Carefree didn't communicate to me about penalty. But **** mentioned about the 12 month commitment and at the same time he agreed to waive
      this 12 month commitment, by cancelling the subscription on August.  All of these communications are in the attached PDF file.
