I purchased a 9mm pistol there and it is broken and they won't fix it or give me mi money backBusiness response

The customer purchased the 9mm handgun on March 3, 2022. We received a call from the customers husband, somewhere near the end of March stating that the gun was not working properly. I asked him to bring the gun in and we could take a look at it or have someone look at it. The gun was brought in the next day by the customers son. When I was handed the gun, it did not have a magazine and I asked where it was. He stated that they left it at home. The customers son also stated while in the shop that customer had let someone borrow and shoot the gun and when it came back it was not working correctly. Later that day, the customers husband called the shop asking if the gun was fixed, I stated that we were not able to test fire the gun without the magazine and we could not see anything physically wrong with the gun nor had we had time to get someone to look at it. I then told him that if he thought it was not working correctly, he would need to contact the manufacture and see if he needed to send it in to them for it to be repaired. I am not sure if they contacted the manufacture or not. We do not have a licensed gun ***** in our shop therefore we are not able to fix a broken gun. However, we do have someone we can call to look at our guns, but the customer did not even give us 24 hours to have the gun looked at by him. The customers husband called 2 times the same afternoon we received the gun asking if it was fixed and then 2 times the next morning asking if it was fixed. The customers husband then stated that his son would be back to pick the gun up that day. I also can not provide a refund on a gun that left the shop brand new and comes back in several weeks later with noticeable use and needing possible repairs and also when I was told that they let someone borrow it and it came back to them not working correctly.
