            Contracted with 5 Star Painting to refinish two wooden front doors (sand down, restain and apply top coat). On the first attempt, the contractor sanded a dent in the door to remove a light scratch, broke the speak easy grille and upon finishing the doors, the finish began to bubble up. The owner (*****************************) said it was all done to industry standards. Was able to get *** to come look at the door, and he agreed it looked terrible and needed to be fixed. He stated they would fix the problem as many times as necessary. The same contractor resanded the door, welded the speak easy grille and refinished the door. Upon finishing, the same issue occurred with both doors bubbling. *** thought it might be the warm weather, so we agreed to wait until November to redo them. On the third attempt, the same issue occurred. Both doors began bubbling as the weather warmed. *** said it must be some other issue and stated he was done trying to fix the work and would not reimburse me or fix the doors to industry standards.
