***** ****** **** ****** referred this contractor to me to do repairs on my manufactured home. owner is *** *******. First spoke with *** ******* on July 13. Asked him for quote for recoating my roof as well as any repairs to my AC ductwork under the house. He told me he would do all the work for $900.00. He said he would send a written quote before any work started and also give me a written receipt upon completion. He guaranteed a 7-year warranty. I told him that my roof had to be treated with care as it was an old house. He agreed to take care. My roommate ***** and I came home on July 21 to find 2 young Caucasian men on top of my house. One worker- (whom I'll call "Tall") was pressure washing while his companion (whom I'll call 'short") was applying the coating. Both were stomping about on the roof. I told them to stop, and I called ***. He apologized and said he forgot to them them about the roof. I let them continue. Tall admitted that this was the first coating job he had ever done. Short confessed he was a carpenter by trade and that *** had called him the night before and asked them to do my job. Short said it was the 6th roof he had ever coated. After awhile they claimed they were done. I climbed up the ladder and told then they were far from done. Tall went and sat in his truck and smoked while Short went back to work. I look out the window to see Short swinging the roller in a huge arc to get to the roof. He slung paint on my siding, deck and shed as well as all over the lawn. I came out as he said he was done, He pointed out that Tall had done 4 repairs to my AC ductwork. I paid them but they didnt offer any receipt. They drove off and I took pictures and sent them to ***, that is where the texting starts. I managed to get under my house today. No repairs are visible to the AC ductwork. Hurt my back getting under there. I texted Mr ******* 14 times from 7/21 thru 9/18. He replied 3 times. He promised to fix the problem but never did.
