I pay my car loan through a third party called ***************** so they sent a check in the mail to Hancock Whitney bank, that check which is the money I pay monthly was put into someone elses account so they got my money instead of it going to my loan. Hancock Whitney withdrew the money from my bank account stating that I did not pay my car loan when I did pay it they are the ones who deposited the check into the wrong account. I have been facing financial hardships due to this issue. It has been a week and the money is still not in my account and is still in someone elses account. They keep telling me they are waiting on more information when all of the information and proof that they needed was given to them multiple times. I spent hours and days speaking to several people about this. I want my money back and all of the over draft fees I got charged because of their mistake.Business response

Hancock Whitney Bank strives to maintain good customer relationships and we recognize and respect the important role played by the Better Business Bureau. However, because we are a bank, and federal and state bank record confidentiality laws prevent us from discussing or disclosing confidential customer information or account records, we are simply unable to reply to this inquiry through this forum with as detailed information as we would like.
With respect to this complaint ID, I can say that a review of our records relative to the complainants concerns will be conducted the results of which will be provided directly to complainant.
