  We went under contract with CST ************ Services (aka CST Fence & Repair) to build a pipe fence on our newly purchased property in ***********, **. The lot is about 2 acres and CST was going to build a 3 rail pipe fence across front and 3 rails for one section down each side, build a gate per design picture we provided to CST and POA for approval, install a gate opener, and build pipe fence down each side with top and bottom rail only to be cover with ranch wire.The contract was signed on January 30, 2023. The project was supposed to take approximately 3 weeks to complete and get started in early March. We paid half as down payment in order for them to secure the pipe.The project didn't start on time and we kept getting the run-a-round. They finally delivered some old rusted drill stem pipe that was all pitted. We were told that would only be used on the side fences and primarily the bottom rail. The pipe was used for the vertical pipes and much of the top rail down the side. We were then told the pipe would be ground down and look like new before painting but that was never done.The work on the fence extended from April 2023 to May to June with no progress. ****, the owner of CST Fence & Repair, kept telling us the weather was too wet in April and May. In June, he claimed his welder broke down. We finally requested a phone meeting with him to discuss the lack of progress and he told us it was too hot for his workers and he was dealing with family issues. We tried to be understanding, but his continued mistruths about the fence made us uncomfortable. Finally, in August, **** stopped returning text, email and phone message to get a status after we drove 4 hours to the property to meet him and he did not show up. At that point, we sent him a registered letter outlining our concerns.Work quality poor/old pipe not cleaned No Gate or Opener No Ranch wire one side and not attached on other No 3 rail on sides ******* caps Bad welding Trash

  reasons. Job is 100% done now just waiting on response from customer to
  walk over ********************** work.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  CST Construction reported the fence was 100% complete but that does not seem to be the case after reviewing the work.  We would estimate 90-95%.   The contractor obviously threw the gate and wire fence together as quick as possible to try to resolve the BBB complaint.
  Please see complete list of items on attached Word document.  We have many more pictures that can be provided as well, but the bbb site limited us to 5 files.  Please let us know if more are needed.  We also tried to use yellow flagging tape to identify the issues and incomplete areas at the property.
