      Dear ****************,

Michaels Keys would like to apologize for any miscommunication in regards to your vehicle service.  Once the vehicle was delivered to our shop, it was not in the condition as expressed to our technician over the phone.  At some point your ignition cylinder had been rekeyed and did not match that of the door lock on your vehicle.  The result of this was having to run the code, which is an additional charge that you agreed upon. Our technician did reach out and explain this to you prior to doing any work.  Although we cannot offer a refund for the services already performed we would like to provide a resolution for the situation.  We would be willing to provide a new door lock cylinder keyed up to match your ignition key at no charge to you.  If you will please call our Service Manager, ************************* at ************ he will be happy to schedule this for you.

      Sincerely,

      *********************

Date of purchase 01/26/24 Amount of purchase was $58.46 I walk into Michaels Keys and saw that they made keys for home, I aksed the guy at the front desk how much was it to make keys and he said $3.50 a key and then about 15 seconds later he said $4.50 a keys I purchase 12 keys and only got two keys cut. While he was cutting my keys a pregant white female entered the store, she got maybe one key cut and was only charged $3.50 for her ******** that is a dollar less than what I paid for my keys and I even had to ask for a bag to put my keys in, the guys just laid them the keys on the counter for me to take. I was over charged for the same product for no none reason. I even asked the guy was or is there a military discount, he said no.

      Mr. Blues,

I am sorry you had an unfavorable experience in out *********** store. I went back through and checked the register receipts and found you had purchased New Orleans Saints novelty keys. Our novelty keys are more expensive due to the fact we pay the *** to use their logo. The price of $4.50 each blank we charge is lower than most of our competitors ranging from $7 - $25 per blank.

Regarding the woman who checked out at the same time as you,she had purchased generic house keys and a mailbox key. I know that most keys look alike, but we have over **** unique blanks and they all vary in price.

I added a copy of your transaction and hers for comparison

If you would like to return all your novelty keys, we will give you a full refund. I hope this helps ease your mind and we can continue to earn your business in the future. Once again, we thank you for shopping with us.
